Content Creators are starting to do polls on where to play so the videos should start coming soon. Also, am I the only one surprised footage of the game is still embargoed given YTers have had access for ages, and we're less than a month out from launch?
Its hard to go wrong with a Total Frog Death run.My goto to explore EU in the past has been England, so them first. Then probably ERE next to make Anatolia Greek and Orthodox again.
Irish OPM crusade against the Turks in 1338.Orhan Ghazi , im coming to kill you!

I would probably go Brandeburg into Prussia first since it's my most played country in EU4. It's just so much fun.We are also getting a Tinto Flavor on Austria this week, and another on Poland before release. From the gameplay video from Zlewikk it was shown that there are unique situations covering the struggles between the Polish crown and nobility (szlachta), and that it makes the estate loyalty drop hard.

I didn't realise Portrugal had mini-castilecastles on it's flag. Thanks paradox. Was just about to post it, this is the most extreme flag autism ever seen in a paradox game. "Our flag researcher is an expert in the field of academic heraldry who has been working with Paradox for several years now. They are a trained historian with a master’s degree in medieval heraldry and protoheraldry, and with that incredible background they have been able to provide EU5 with a scientific approach to the research of flags and coats-of-arms to a level that few people in the world could."
Here's not even half of all the flags present in the post

Hope my potato can play it.What country will you guys play first on launch? Mine's Poland since it's my country. Then I'll probably try out Byzantium.
The Stellaris game speed but for EU5, grim.It will work, just slow.
I want to try out Burgundy. I know they were looking into ways to recreate its ascension without it being too railroady, so it'll probably be the best way to stress-test their design philosophy if it has enough content. We are also getting a Tinto Flavor on Austria this week, and another on Poland before release. It looks way too good to be true. It's Paradox. There's going to be a catch somewhere. Please dont suck, EU5. I want to believe paradox can be great again.
Still better than Civ 7
My first game will be one of the Italian tags as is my tradition with PDX games (except paradoxically Imperator). They are small enough not to overwhelm you with mechanics at the start and there's enough stuff going around to keep things interesting. After that, depending how confident I feel about my grasp on the game I will either play Byzantium or one of the daimyos. On my shortlist there are also Ilkhanate hordes, England (for the hundred year war mechanics) and HRE minors. We are also getting a Tinto Flavor on Austria this week, and another on Poland before release.
