Ralph isn't some brave dissident resistance leader calling out Big Bad Government. His "exile" was him choosing to leave the US because he was in danger of having to face accountability for Faith, his taxes, his brother, and likely other behind-the-scenes shit we don't know about. Contrary to what he'd like, the consequences of his actions were never going to be a heroic sacrifice or an Alamo-style standoff at the Richmond Crack Shack. He'd have to put his larp behind, declare bankruptcy, and get a job. I think that mundane and boring reality scares him more than anything and he'll do whatever it takes to never live in it.

It'd be admirable if Ralph actually stood for something and lived by his own code but Ethan "ARREST HIM!" Ralph will gladly appeal to Daddy Law when convenient. He has no cause, he isn't likeable, and he comes across as bitter when someone tries to have some self preservation. Ralph would've dragged Pantsu and Rozy down if they kept living with him. He thinks it's some great betrayal that Pantsu doesn't want to get ass fucked by a Mexican Jiggalo and wanted a stronger support system for her daughter than Adolwulf.
