As far as I know, in the NFL the game clock is only stopped when the ball goes out of bounds. That's why you have 3-4h brodcasts with only about 10 minutes of gameplay. I don't have any interest in that sport, but I wonder if there's someone out there who makes edits that are just 100% gameplay, so you don't have to watch hundreds of ads and players discussing strategy with their coach.
the entire nfl ecosystem is one giant machine to blow smoke up people's asses to give a really fake and gay kayfabe the illusion of importance. football is an incredibly simple game with very little in the way of tactics or actual skill involved because the victory conditions are secured through metagaming. I'm not even being facetious here becasuse im a nerd, the strategy involved in NFL Gridiron football is "make sure they can't catch the ball so you can run the timer down" it's not like soccer or hockey or baseball or basically any other sports game where there is a Situation and you have a limited amount of resources (players) to deal with the Situation - with gridiron football the winning strat is legitimately to just stop the game from being played

this is ideal for a televised game because it allows them to fit more ad space in the runtime. everything about gridiron football is designed from this point of view. Look, nobody even plays the fucking game. You can go out and see kids playing soccer or hockey or baseball but you never see people playing football. it's because it sucks.

This piece of shit client used to eat half of my RAM, dropped it for BitComet as soon as I found out it exists.
I used Azerus for years because it was the first "full featured" client I found but it was SLOW and ate RAM because it was written in fucking Java.

Then uTorrent came along and pushed in the shit of every other client. Lol

If memory serves Bram Cohen actually bought uTorrent rather than compete with it.

welp, i had a few issues with niggertorrent and it's time to finally stop being a subhuman and install qbit, i decided to check my stats though.

wow.

Getting uTorrent was a revelation, shit was magic. I've been pirating for years before torrents hit but switching exclusively to uTorrent was like watching the world of internet piracy with a set of new eyes. Couldn't believe what speeds i was getting after properly port forwarding and shit.

Damn. I amazed your still even on uT, more than anything else. Its blacklisted on a lot of the private trackers I use.
uTorrent has a version that's much more popular than others because it was the last one before they started adding ads, spyware or some other malicious garbage to the installer. I think it was 2.2.1 something and I used it for many years before switching to qBittorrent a few months ago. Couldn't tell you about private trackers because I never used them.

Yeah, I remember those days. That was when I dropped uT, client-hopped around a bit before landing on qB myself. I went to uT when Azureus started to bloat (I mean feature bloat, not obvious loljava bloat) into an "all-in-one media hub" or whatever they called it before they settled on turning into Vuze.

Yes, 2.2.1 was the last, "officially" good version. Same as you i switched over to qBittorrent not too long ago (around the end of last year) and i am happy with that client. There are issues with using it and Mullvad VPN (AFAIK there's issues with any torrent client and Mullvad because Mullvad removed port forwarding compatibility with an update from last year) but as long as i get max speed on torrents i am not bothered.

I switched to qBittorrent because of the search function. It helped me find some rare stuff. I use NordVPN and I can't forward ports, either. It would probably help a lot with some torrents that don't have dozens of seeds.

Be warned, Vimm's have had to "thin out" their collection from time to time because of uppity lawyers
Yeah a lot of first-party Nintendo games and some popular PlayStation games got hit, but you can still get a lot of less mainstream stuff there at faster download speeds and easier searching than other places, so it still makes a good first look before going somewhere else if what you want has been DMCA'd off Vimm.

qBit is awesome. It's like uTorrent would be if it hadn't been sold and retardified. Total coincidence I am sure.

I'm amazed there was still a good version as of last year(?). I switched to Deluge for a few years when I went Linux only at home and then settled on qBit. I fucking love qBit.

I remember it getting super niggerfied. I kept using an "outdated" version for years afterwards. Congrats on the switch. You won't be disappointed. :)

Shit, I have never checked that out. I should give it a try. Between private trackers and the Rooskies I usually find what I am looking for.

What does it do better than Deluge?
