Unsure if it's been brought up yet, but the link in the OP for 1337x is broken. Idk if it's just for me, but every time I try to open it, it wants to save a .ts video file.
can you post a screenshot? that's multiple levels of weird.

Edit: the explanation below makes sense

oh i had this happen to but now its good again.

Gonna have to upgrade the external drives I've got next year. It's going to end up getting to the point where I have little streaming services, if any at all. I ended up having to ditch Plex due to their bullshit and I just redownloaded Kodi again. I like being able to view everything locally without having to worry about an internet connection. The only time I actually need to use the internet connection with Kodi is scraping new movies or TV show data. Having one's own Spotify / Netflix is honestly pretty great. I know 10 year old me would freak the fuck out at the amount of content I have access to today.

I pirate because it is fun. :gunt:

I pirate because I don't care. I never felt the need to justify it. I wonder how much money all the shit I've pirated in about 30 years would be "worth" today. I could probably build a decent house with that money.

TorrentFreak: Nintendo Seeks ‘Reasonable’ $4.5 Million Judgment Against r/SwitchPirates Mod ‘Archbox’ (archive)
Nintendo is seeking a $4.5 million default judgment against r/SwitchPirates moderator James 'Archbox' Williams. The Arizona resident allegedly used Reddit to promote the distribution of hundreds of games through his "pirate shops". Nintendo frames its multi-million dollar request as a "gesture of reasonableness," noting that it could have asked for millions more.

I think you might mean compressed ... but yeah it's ridiculous

This is the kind of fucker that would download a BF though. Look at these top titles of his. And he wants to charge 12 grand for a digital copy of that encyclopedia and near 100 grand for a physical? I would say fuck this guy but he probably wants that.

And people wonder why piracy exists when the people getting their shit pirated is already trying to fuck everybody else.

Edit: It looks like there's like 13 or more volumes of that encyclopedia set by that Kieth Brown guy out there. I managed to find volume thirteen on and it looks like at least a handful of the volumes are on internet archive but in a protected state.

Linguistic Encyclopedia Volume 13 Internet Archive Version

I don't fuck with internet archive alot but this might be interesting for someone else who wants to poke at it because as far as I can tell they do actually have the files.

Here 'ya go: https://annas-archive.org/md5/535094a8e4638345662a1680f6e7dda6

216MB, 12k pages. All 14 volumes. Fuck that guy, whether he thinks he'll like it or not.

Why were they even using Cloudflare? A company headquartered in Ameri©a? There are tons of great options for DDoS protection that make it unnecessary to pay for Negro Cattle MITM Proxy number 94. I guess they thought "hey if they host terrorism websites they'll host copyright infringement too right?" Except copyright infringement brings more trouble than some islamic extremists in skimasks does, somehow...

I have never heard of this website until today. I'm going to enjoy perusing this website. I love you for this. No homo.
More generally:
Those are the main places to find e-books on the clear web. Anna's Archive has been a little slow lately and you can find faster speeds on Z-Lib. Your number of daily downloads without being a paying member is limited to ten however and I would mainly use it for big files. Also, if you use mirrors of the once mighty Library Genesis, be careful, because they may have malware. You can find still further resources here:
