A BF4 game I got from Fitgirl Repack has functional campaign but no multiplayer. There is a dedicated community client called ZLOrigin but the player base is pretty small.
I heard about using Spaewar! In order to play Steam multiplayer by manipulating the app id in cracked games but I have no idea how to do such things and also don’t know if it will connect to Steam servers.

We were all new pirates, once. And its probably much more confusing/intimidating today than it was 30+ years ago when I started dipping my toes.
Zoomers will never know using AstalaVista at the local library to search for cracks and cheats.

Nah. Remember "snahp"? They went fully private and I managed to get in before they walled everyone off from joining, but most of the uploading crew there are massive Lefty faggots. Make one joke about Democrats being a walking contradiction and they threaten to run to the mods to try and get you banned. LOL.

Oh, and thanks to @Disguised In Cognito for the fmhy link. I found BiniLossless because of that. Good lookin out broski.
As far as Snahp goes, is it just completely inaccessible now? Do current members get invites they can hand out or something? Or are they just working with whatever userbase they had before going private?

I'm not fishing for an invite or anything, just trying to understand the ecosystem of the place. I was getting a whole bunch of stuff I had struggled to find elsewhere through some DDL sources last year and kept hearing about Snahp but it felt like a Fight Club situation, no-one seems to want to talk about it at all.

No invites still. I hardly use it.

I'll do you one better; zoomers will never know going to your local library and borrowing music CDs which you then take home and use a CD burner drive to rip a copy of, before internet piracy was much of a thing (in my country at least). Was a very formative experience for both my love of piracy and for developing my musical taste.

This isn't exactly news. But most people I see talking about these only have been mentioning these laws on a surface level in the US.

Its not looking good privacy sisters.

I was going to say. Well you can just get apks from gitbub directly. In places that are effected. But Google is going to start forcing everything to be verified by them coming up pretty soon. So yeah. Looking pretty bad.

Edit
I think I'm going to make an edit of this actually that cuts down to the essential things from it people should see. I think this in its entirety is great to get normies to see why all of this is bad. But having just the important clips is better to get people to see it.

Stop being such a doomer bratan. If, and I do not believe it will ever be the case because it is unenforceable, but IF somehow they shit this out, there will come a day when someone gets somewhere they shouldn't, and we will behold a data leak of cataclysmic proportions. Given the current state of tech in the US I can almost guarantee a good chunk of their infrastructure will be vibe/jeetcoded.
>Google
Of course good saar, please redeem my ID saar yes I am proud Egyptian heritage brahmin programmer saaar.

Oh, and as long as I can pay Ranjeet 15$ to smack a PiVPN under his desk in the local call center, the feds (or Europol, I guess?) can tongue my anus. All of these withering plutocrat vampires will succumb to the wheel of time sooner rather than later, and all shall be well. Trust in the whitepill.

Laws have been. and are being passed now. It's not a possibility. It's happening. And people are ignoring it. It's not me being a doomer. It's me looking at what is happening. It's not a prediction of mine or something.

I have my own thoughts about why people just aren't paying much attention to it. But if I type them all out, I will just sound like I'm some conspiracy theorist or something. But like he brings up in this (and one of the things I'm going to clip because it's pretty far into the video) this shit is being pushed by both sides. It makes me want to scream because, because I feel like there is so much shit that is just a distraction. When things like this are being pushed that actually advance authoritarianism. It's always bipartisan. It's in the people that want this to passed best interest to have the exact kind of political climate we have now. Everyone is divided. There are plenty of news stories to keep people looking at, there are plenty of other causes that aren't time critical ( I say this is, because once it's fucked, it's SOO much harder to unfuck it) that people are outraged about. And a lot of people have fallen for the daddy gobment gonna take care of my kids for me cope (these people are literally no better than an EBT nigger in my mind).

Based and true. However, I think the people will eventually get a fire lit under their ass the same way as they have in the United Cuckland now, with mass multi-million person protests about digital ID. Unlike the UK, I think that the people of the US would not be so easily ignored. I think a good deal of people are disillusioned with both sides of the coin. Hopefully that will be enough to push back against this kind of thing.

That's just my opinion as an outsider looking in. I am neither from the US nor do I know every little thing about the thoughts of the people in every state or at every level. All I know is that we're better off looking at things with slightly brighter tinted glasses. You're only fucked when you start believing that you're fucked.

We are fucked unless people start caring about it. Until they do. We are. That's the thing that I think drives me crazy about it. Is I wish I could make people care. It's like the Patriot act. Once it's here, its just here. People became used to the changes that happened. People forget things weren't like that before. They just accept it. Then encroach a bit more on freedom, and people accept that, and become used to it. Then forget it wasn't like this before repeat.

I need to edit that video.

Ok I cut down it about in half. There were parts where he gives some of his opinion, and tries to explain why it's bad. Gives examples of all of the times centralized databases of this kind of information have been hacked, which I thought is something people already probably realize is a potential issue (although I don't think people take it seriously enough because it happens a lot).

but if people don't want to even watch that. I clipped out 3 smaller bits that I think are worth watching if nothing else.

First. And very important. Oracle. The company that has been pushing for AI surveillance cameras. Is tied with the CIA, and likely other government agencies. From the beginning of that companies formation. Basically it's an NGO that is pushing to get this stuff passed.

Trump is buddies with the founder Larry Ellison. And you can see from not only the lack of pushback, but also looking at the fact from the time Trump has gotten into office, efforts have seemed to go up even more than before to get these laws passed. (meanwhile everyone is more obsessed and distracted with culture war faggotry than ever). And for those that don't know about the guy making the video. He is very much a conservative guy. This isn't some trump bad thing. But Trump absolutely does have ties to this.

Also this is the company that is taking over TikTok here. A company with CIA ties, taking over TikTok. Hmm sounds interesting. What could go wrong? Also CBS news, apparently they are going to be taking over Warner Bros as well.

Next you have Bill Gates. Talking about how you really don't want people being anonymous online, just saying whatever they want. Funny how everyone pushing this are literally the 1% of the 1% of the wealthiest people in the world. (Oracles guy Larry Ellison was also the wealthiest man in the world at one point). It's almost like they have some motivation to do it
You know. It's probably just because the ultrawealthy care so much about your children. Yeah that's probably it. Don't think about it.

the last one is just an interesting clip. worth listening to still.

I planned to add this in here. Because this is I truly believe is a part of it. I also think the things he says are really worth considering. Looking at what information is being shared and boosted. The spin put on the information. What news, social media, politicians, are trying to promote, and why. It's in my opinion, the best thing you can do. It feels really good to give into the outrage. But it's bad for everyone.

Been nothing but a distraction the entire time. Glad I can see now.

This is something a family friend of ours did for movies. Library didn't care, they got their rent fee for it. Always got a new movie disc with the movie written in sharpie on the front of the DVD. I still have a bunch of them lying around in storage somewhere, gonna need to upload them to my NAS once I get that finalized.

It wouldn't work if there was nothing real there. There are things people should care about. And I don't think people are wrong to want to stand up for their beliefs. But it's also a tool being used to manipulate, and distract. If it was simple. It wouldn't matter, everyone would see through it.

And just to be clear I don't necessarily think it's just an all powerful all knowing group doing this or something. Like they are controlling everything. They are controlling things that are well within their power to control. Things that I think are fairly easy for the Government/corporations (they're so tied together it's basically the same) to take advantage of. We literally volunteer to be controlled with social media algorithms, just like we volunteer to carry literal tracking devices, voice recorder, surveillance camera combos that mainly serve the companies as a means to sell ads to you, on us at all times. We like getting fed the slop. It feels good to get the next dopamine hit of emotion, the next distraction.

I'm super tired right now. I stayed up too late getting those edited and doing some other stuff. One point I want to make before I take a nap is when I'm watching the news, or whatever commentary about social issues. Any of that stuff. The thing I do at this point to try to keep myself from getting lost too far down the whole trap of this political stuff. Is questioning myself, what i believe, why, and questioning why the news (all of the things I listed above it's easier to just say news) are pushing X narrative, or Y story. Why not something else, or why are they putting a spin on it? Am I just looking for things I want to hear? And also reminding myself there is no way to not be effected by propaganda at all. It's working on me as much as anyone else.

It is worse. This is the police state that every dictator would have given up limbs to get access to.

A tool of extreme ideological purity, right out of 1984. Not even China had gone this far, but I am sure they will follow the trend happily enough. Of course if you badmouthed the politicians, you would be vanned, but this will open up the floodgates to every corporation, every politician, every busybody, not just CCP and CIA bigwigs.

This will be total niggercattle control, done in the name of "save muh children" from "muh internet troons" for the right (Bob Chandler is a better parent who knew you can keep troons away by cutting down da internet) or to "end hate speech and save muh heckin bipocerinos" for the left (Card Carrying Communist Rowling and the 1 bad step of not loving the shemales).

Torrents and forums going away will be, lets not kid ourselves, the sideshow. The main show will be utter surveillance and social credit systems that reach down and touch into your entire life. Globohomo one world government will mean Ofcom will take all you own if you tell them that their internet is shit, even if you are in Texas.

You won't own anything, you won't have a private thought. Ads will be beamed into your brain. The system will know if you are happy or not, should you not be happy, here comes the mandatory happiness vaccines with lovely thorazine in it.

And that's before we logically reach the end :
A party change happens and them looking up all your purity posts about the old system? They'll know. The Uniparty will have to purge a few loyalists every time parties change, just to satisfy their own "voooters". So you were a good Magapede, updooting all the deport memes? Power change, you'll be given a 5 million reparation tax. You were a good libtard, yelling "Transxfolkx Black Lives Matter" ? Well, here is the new Israel Boycott tax for you. You own Trump and Bibi 6 million shekels both. This can become a cycle where every 4 years a good amount of fines and sweatshop jailtime is collected by the state. The only willing move will be to not interact, live like a hermit in the pod, pay the rent, and shut up forever.
Hackers. Endless scams and hackers. ID theft on a massive scale. Scamjeet Filthpoo just took out a 10 million dollar loan in your name, with your digital ID. Your ID was used by the Houtis to shitpost on X, formerly Twitter, on President Vance. Enjoy prison, terrorist child.

I LOVE OWNING THINGS

I LOVE MY DVDS

I LOVE MY CDS

I LOVE MY TAPES

I LOVE MY HARDWARE

I LOVE MY HARD DRIVES WITH PIRATED MATERIAL ON IT

I LOVE MY HARD DRIVES WITH UNOBTAINABLE MEDIA ON IT

I LOVE SHARING MY BANDWIDTH WITH TORRENTERS

YOU WILL NOT GET ME GLOWIES, EAT SHIT AND DIE

PAY ONCE, PIRATE ALL, DON'T LOOK BACK

I pirate because the systems used to organize and collate the vast swathes of data archived by pirates result in better filtering, searching, and accessibility than the competition. Elite private trackers provide a best-in-class interface to specific genres of content, with plenty of social signposts to help you ensure you get only the finest quality, or barring that, the quality you prefer.

Honestly can't wait. The skids are going to have a field day with this if it is nearly as poorly implemented as we all know its gonna be. Old school sim swapping won't hold a candle to the kind of highway robbery people can pull with this. One single point of failure for your entire life, what could ever go wrong? The whiplash is going to be astronomical.

Talking about how you really don't want people being anonymous online,
It's weird, right; I've seen both people on the left and people on the right say to anonymous accounts: "Ooh, big man being anonymous online, how about you show your face and name so you can face consequences for your words" as if it's completely normal to just show your identity online? People today just see the world wide web as part of your social life, not separate. If you don't show what you do on a daily basis, you're the weird one.

People actively post themselves on Instagram about what they've done, where they've been, what they've been eating. People on Snapchat send pictures of themselves, to all of their friends, daily, for "streaks", neverminding all the nudes. People on Discord use servers as their fucking therapist, venting and ranting about all the shit going on in their lives. People just have no sense of privacy anymore. Unless it's porn, no one wants to let people see what they're jacking off to. But even that's becoming less taboo, people talking about "gooning" and "my latest goon session", "man I'm gooning so hard". Disgusting.

I showed Digital ID to my friends, they're normal people, they're not computer illiterate or anything, they've built their own PCs, they use Firefox, browse the web with DuckDuckGo, they Torrent; but when I said "Can you fucking believe they're trying to push this", all I got was "Seems like a good thing to me tbh". They've completely given up on anonymity online; "Google already knows all of what I do so what's there to do against it", "Digital ID will ensure minors won't go to porn sites and keep them safe", "Windows is fine for me, I know it has telemetry but whatever". Such disgusting apathy.

But every time I hear people like that, it just makes me relieved I'm not them and they can continue their lives with Big Brother following them around like their lapdog.
