It's not really about Amelie. They want to have an in-joke and feel like they're part of a community. If it's not Amelie it's other random memes about ISP letters and suchlike. Piracy doesn't actually lend itself well to creating a tight-knit social group so it's forced and kinda gay, particularly among redditors who don't have other friends and communities.
Reddit's gotten a lot worse in just about every way since the Google deal. I asked there about scraping videos from Amazon Prime (gonna look into Streamfab) and making those videos available to others. I was met with "no one would want your torrents anyway". They talk about the importance of preserving media yet discourage people from contributing to the cause. The whole reason I want to get those videos from Prime is because I can't find the entire series elsewhere, just a few individual episodes. The demand for a decade-old Disney Channel show that ran for 2 seasons is pretty low. That's why I'm having trouble finding it. They really do want their hobby to be an exclusive club.

Does anyone know where I can find games from Zoom Platform? I want to play Knight Of The Temple 2 and the original ISO still has StarForce, so I don't want to fuck with it on Windows 10. I assume that their games are Win10 ready like on GOG.

Serious question: what is proper etiquette for torrents that won't seed? Most of my collection is lesser known/older titles that maybe half a dozen other people in the world have any interest in.
yous a nigger for worrying about this.
still better than the bajillion pacos and grishkas that download and then delete the torrent because of their shitty criminal-owned ISP limiting their total bandwidth to like 250GB/mo

As a Streamfab user (well, not so much now) all I can say is find anything else, because it is a giant pain in the ass for no benefit you can't get if you spend five more minutes putting together a better solution

There's literally nothing on any streaming service that you can't find via another medium, is what I'm saying

I'll go research on how to get Prime content and maybe Netflix sometime. It's protected better than most of the streaming services out there. Most of them use Widevine or some other third party service, which can easily be breached by proxying your connection. (Look at my OP rewrite). I know there's content on Prime that's nowhere else, not even a torrent. Mostly very local garbage, like dubs or locally made films and series. So I have a personal part in it too.

There's always the classic "analog loophole" -- video passthrough and record on good capture hardware.

Can someone tell me where I can get the latest prod keys for Switch emulation? My keys don't match the latest firmware and are causing some issues. Googling leads me to some shit I find too shady

The less well-seeded the better. All the latest releases will have loads of people seeding them, older and niche titles won't. Don't be a nigger, permaseed and keep that content alive
Shit. I've been deleting the torrents so I can move the files from my PC to my movie hard drive. Is there a way I can still seed the titles without the original torrents? Like make a new torrent of my own? I keep my collection pretty well organized:

Titles I've already watched do have a second .png with my rating of the film on a scale from ELBIC (everything looks better in comparison) to IFLT (I fucking love this).

Of course, most popular torrent clients should have a built-in "create torrent" feature. If you want something more customizable/powerful there's tools like mkbrr

Generally just don't worry about the amount of upload you're putting out. It's cool to see 500Mb/s upload on new popular releases but ultimately long-term seeding for preservation is significantly more important. Public trackers don't care about your upload anyway and Private ones reward seeding for long periods of time even without upload

I delete mine as opposed to letting them sit on my laptop after I download too, I just try to get the ratio to at least 2.0 before doing so as a way to pay it forward. It's not always possible if it's something that's old and not that popular.

It's nice to seed torrents, but you're under no obligation to do so on public trackers. It's more of a karma thing.

Old and obscure makes up the vast majority of my collection, sadly. There are some wonderful things to be found if you dig deep enough (I made an entire thread just to share those), but there aren't a whole lot of people looking for something like Puppet Killer or A Beginner's Guide to Snuff.

eta: On a positive note, while digging around for various media, I learned an album I loved was actually rereleased a few years back.

I loved Shiloh when I was younger. She was doing really well and had a promising career ahead of her until a certain someone completely fucked her life up.

Monthly limits on broadband are extremely uncommon in Russia. If Grishka downloads and deletes the torrent, it's either he doesn't have hard drive space or he's a piece of shit.
