@AltisticRight I'm wondering if you got deleted or defederated or whatnot because they thought your second account was a parody? They're quick to delete accounts that aren't clear about stating they are parodies, so maybe you got caught in the crossfire.
The lolicon issue is a big moral gray area, and I'd like to see what an experienced panel of judges would have to say about it.
Some people are very quick to declare certain art to be pedophilic, and I wonder if Nabokov could have even written Lolita nowadays. It would be a tragedy to lose out on legitimate artistic masterpieces because someone somewhere decided they were uncomfortable with some aspect of it, so they decided to invoke the P word and declare it morally evil.
I kinda hate anime to begin with, but it's such a slippery slope and I am frightened of the path that censorship will tread.
The only lolicon that I've seen on Poast has involved barely/ undressed teenaged-looking girls (with no sexual activity involved), and I'm torn on whether the depiction of an unclothed female body should be considered as pedophilic pornography when we all know that it was probably created for that exact purpose, but then would we have to say that all art that portrays nude young women is pedo porn? Because that's false.
As for Poast, I think it is a good starting place for people because there are a few users who are welcoming and happy to help others find instances that will work for them. All it's flaws aside, I have learned way more about the fediverse from the Poast timeline than from any other.
