This is because it's a mobile game. People get bored with mobile games within days, sometimes.
It isn't even a fun one, to be honest. I am also thinking since they are banning players is also why some are getting fed up with the game. I never got into Pokemon honestly.

I found more fun with Final Fantasy Record Keeper and Brave Exvus. At least with Record Keeper, there's more to do and with weekly events to keep me coining. I also heard that Go drains battery life.

Issue with Go is that you go around and throw pokeballs at random pokemon nearby (which gets harder and harder and requires you to throw more and more balls as you level up), maybe drive or walk to a nearby landmark to pick up more pokeballs and maybe an egg, try to fight your way into a gym (which is now very difficult considering top level players have them all by now). You'd see it spike up again if they'd bother with PvP at the very least.

I consider trading a bit more of a "must-have" feature than PvP battling, personally.
Needs more player to player interaction, period. Trading at a minimum, PvP also good.

Getting Pokeballs needs to be a bit easier as well. Most stops around my area are near allot of busy streets where traffic is. Not too mention,a good handful are around the ghetto parts of the town. Which where I live is far, far away since I live out in the country.

I mean. The game looked alright at first from the trailer eariler this year, but the whole hype died. I still walk without the need of Pokemon Go. Most people who play games on their phone either play Record Keeper or Candy Crush. I had more fun with Neko Atsume.

I wonder how many kids used their folks' credit cards to get Pokeballs.
If their parents haven't put the locks on the account... Probably quite a few.

Off topic sperging: is anybody else irritated that apps stores pretty much demand a credit card for sharing accounts? I mean I got around it with a prepaid credit card with $5 on it, but still a pain in the ass.

Hey all, necro, kid got killed in Japan by a guy driving a truck while playing Pokémon Go.

Interesting because the city, Aichi, is saying that the game should be disabled if you are driving but when moving fast the game does warn you to not play while driving and confirm you are a passenger. This is causeing a little shit show for making it obvious the committee has never touched the game. Pissing off commuters. Conspiracy theories about a recently released video of a bus driver playing while driving.

PokemonNo is a hashtag on twitter, mostly light hearted, but enjoy random sjw's comparing the Halloween theme loading screen of Gengar/more ghost and Cubone Pokémon apperances to rape, stalkers, and child murders.

If nothing else, Pokemon Go proved that there is demand for a virtual reality Pokemon game. How convenient.

Now perhaps Nintendo will make their own VR console and release a Pokemon game on it. Something like Pokemon stadium perhaps. Or VR Pokemon snap.

Actually, VR Pokemon snap sounds awesome.

Pokemon Go is sooo July! Now it's VR for the next year or so, if we are lucky.

Managed to get up to Level 13 without dealing with a single gym (or buying a single item). I suppose my interest in this has wained considerably, but yeah, it's tough staying on top with this.
