My issue is that, like others have said: you alerted a potential lolcow to the fact that people on here were looking into his information and caused him to DFE, a courtesy you never gave to other potential cows who did end up with their own threads, but did in this instance for this guy (for whatever reason that was for, I don't know), and then on top of that tried to reason out that the reason we're upset is AGAIN because we weren't invited to the club and that people here will think there must be evil deeds afoot - just seemingly ignoring the fact that the guy just completely disregarded this forum's biggest pieces of advice by giving out his personal e-mail to people in the thread (private or no that's just a stupid thing to do). Even now you think we're getting on your case because of Pickle Dick and potential "MOD DRAMA", even though that's not really the main issue. It's an issue for some here, granted, but not the main thing. How you could've solved that was that you could've just done or said nothing to Jack and let him find out for himself; he was already watching this thread and are discussion EXTREMELY closely and the impetus would've been on him if he DFE'd instead of being on you and leading to getting called a "doxing faggy hypocrite". It also would've given time for the OP to actually change and rework the halal thread into something actually workable instead of now having nothing to work with or search for.
That would be my advice for any halal'd user, quite frankly, in that you don't specifically notify them on it (because even if the thread is filled with complete bullshit, most users are probably gonna call it out anyways) and let them dig their own grave or work it out for themselves and try and get ahead of the thread's creation, like you - from my perspective at least - had been doing, but then again I'm not a mod. I can only speak from experience in lurking in PG and the like and seeing how other halal threads have gone down.
