Also- for all the digital artists here, what kind of tablet do you use and is anyone interested in the Wacom Movink 13?
I typically use a Huion H1060P that is 4 y.o. Whilst cheaper than Wacom, it is usable nowadays, sometimes functional and sometimes malfunction. The tablet’s surface has a splotch and some scratches from the stylus’s nibs here and there, as it screams for help; but it is still usable, like I said; so I wanted to use it for a few more months or so until I decided to upgrade it.

Done. There are some flaws and there, but this set is done.

Some brief infos about the quartet OCs:
  1. Injigo's personality is over-the-top, tomboyish, talkative, charismatic, energetic and sly. Always looking very positive during daily life, but would not hold back sharing some of the most harshest words scoffed from the quartet, and be serious. Her general weapon his her shapeshiftable indigo diamond shards and her mystic eyes. Her mystic eyes are revealed and get in use once either one of her surface irises starts to crack and shatter. After usage, her mystic eyes will be deactivated via her surface pupils' ability to reshape into the same pair of irises as usual in perfect condition. Does not mind wearing girlish costumes, but nags if someone retardedly assumes she is a boy when she hides her ponytail. 195cm. The only female of the squad, yet is seen as an older sister figure of her 10 clones.
  2. Seiko's personality is of a sweetheart outside, but extremely formidable and flexible on-battle. To sum: He is a cheerful, confident, nonchalant, kind, gentle, very conceited, charming, helpful, outgoing, energetic and polite if his choker tie is not activated. But once he triggers it, this allows him to alter into any versatile amount of artificial personalities available based on his disguise or battle mood. A master of disguise, but is somehow childish and sulky when things that he did not like was pulled up. He always have 6 energy tachi come with him, as well as a dissolvable cropped jacket. His preferences for costumes are the typically revealing, skintight ones to increase his potency overall. 175cm. Whilst being the shortest of the squad, he is taller than most females in general. Codename: Irozuki. Lead of his 10 clones, known as his callsign amongst them as BLUE. Loves firearms.
  3. Phantasmagoria has an easily amused temperament, in spite of his grim and scary looks at first glance. Be it be something mundane in life, or something bizarre, he always left an entertained chuckle and smirk. In spite of his rather serious and cold nature, keen eye, almighty intelligence, being a primordial, being so regal and formal at the same time; Phantasmagoria prefers to live along a normal life and slacks with his kinships instead of doing his job. He has multiple weapons in his arsenal: Chainaxes, claymores, swords, scythes, his draconic claws, fists and multiple fighting techniques. Not afraid to pull tricks under his sleeves to exploit his enemies' flaw because of his sly nature or talk back. 189~199cm (height manipulation to socialize with superhumans/humans/humanoids) - 219cm (actual).
  4. Nexus is just Injigo but as equally troublesome as her, but loves to indulge in game shows, causing confusion amongst his enemies, but more brasher, as he gives a shit-eating grin to anyone that literally gets defeated by him. Still is humble regardless the amount of insanity caused by the twins. He has more muscles than his younger twin sister and has a preference for sweet potatoes and shit ton of exercises like all three does, even if Seiko's friends do not want to. A massive gymbro like Phantasmagoria and would not stop talking about it like a parrot. The only thing that pacifies them is to send them their favorite treats and drinks and they would stop talking about their favorite hobbies. His weapon is both an energy greatsword and a futuristic-looking H&K MP7. Back at his pair of denim jeans is a dagger sheath protected by hologram glasses. He does not care how people calls his attire too casual or inconvenient for the battlefield, but he finds it comfortable for him and may resort into changing into a different but comfy uniform for himself on the battlefield. Shown to have the ability to summon multiple firearms, either one will be held by his hands or the others will support him. Always seen with a backward baseball cap, goggles and some caution tapes on his cap. 209cm. They refer him as the "too overly casual juggernaut" of the two twins. All of them loves a fair and dirty fight, yet prefers a casual lifestyle more than go out and fighting.

Had a fucking bizarre dream where everyone looked like a hit was taken out on them by Lisa Franke and survived, like different parts of their bodies were missing to show bones that reminded me of pearlescent sugar skulls. The outter parts that weren't damaged looked like almost uncanny masks or porcelain with off colored, super pale hair. Bodies varied from the entire thing being weirdly pale like the hair to brightly colored goo.
Here's a sketch.

There was one I remember vividly that I want to draw next, top half of the body was just a red skeleton with a silver sheen vomiting organs after getting hit with a baseball bat. The center mass was goo with the syomach and intestines just kinds suspended in it (goo was blue) and the legs were like... idk how to explain it, pale but the body hair/peach fuzz was colorful so it was like it had a rainbow halo on it.

Had a cozy painting day, I wanted to practice with oils so I took inspiration from two terrible recent lolcow photos:

GlitterandLasers, from her latest video. That is not her coochie hanging out, she's just gained inner thigh rolls so fat they've become a Thussy.

Preliminary Thussy Studies, I had to do a silhouette breakdown also because what the fuck is even going on

Second we have Jack Scalfani who posted a selfie that looked like it was midway into Stroke 6

Also, thank you for the drawing tablet suggestions! I'm eyeing the XP Pen Magic Drawing Pad, partly because I like that I could bring it to work on a slow day. But don't tell my boss. ;)

@MerriedxReldnahc
Ive had the XP Pen Magic Drawing Pad, I personally am going to advise that you not get it. It's got an EMR sensor in it's panel. The problem with those are they're heavily grid based. Which causes your diagonal strokes to stairstep. I know I'm not super technical in my art but it fucking pissed me off bad. XP pens own illustration is literally accurate to how it works.

I 've had 3 devices that had this exact method of tracking and they all did it. One was the lenovo yoga 2 in 1 laptop, and one was literally this device, and a legion y700 tablet. Apple has it's own propriety fork of this tracking method but they for whatever reason have better smoothing algorithms.

Another factor to consider is google is not a fan of chinese tablets. They block a lot of apps from the play store on tablets they don't approve of/chinese devices, which forces you dig for pirated APKs or accept that its not available for the device.

Hate to get consoomer but for this price on an android tablet, especially if your primary fixation is art. I personally am going to recommend you get an renewed samsung s7+ tablet refurb off amazon. They're only running like 300. It uses Wacoms vastly higher fidelity AES pen system. and it comes with a pen. the pens tilt sensitive too.

It's literally the best price/performace balance I've found for android art, I use it regularly.

If you don't mind apple though, and their prices. They might also be worth it for procreate.

A Samsung Tablet or a used Galaxy Note 10/9/20 Ultra is a good option, in my opinion. If you want a pocket mobilefagging experience with a stylus, in my opinion (might be retarded), the latter is a good option as it has a built-in mini stylus that goes along with a Note. Whilst discontinued entirely, another costly rich teen option I also somehow recommend is the S21~24 Ultra. Whilst god-awful expensive, they are cheaper if you buy them used. They do not suffer the restriction of multiple apps of Google to Chink apps.
I would not recommend you to buy Apple iPad products. Any iPads goes with an Apple Pencil and Procreate are awfully expensive with very little changes to every lineages of iPads in general. Used products have cut cost lower than sealed ones, so I recommend buying one like that. Take it with a grain of salt because I mainly draw on my laptop and occassionally my iPhone 8 Plus/iPad Pro with my fingers.

Galaxy Note 10/9/20
If the note 20 phones, shoot for the note 20 plus/ultra. They're around the same price range now that they've aged a bit. My only gripe with the note phones is it's like drawing on post-it notes with toothpicks and I have the finesse of a retarded orangutan. If you can get past the miniscule frame size they seem every bit as usable as the fullsized s7 tablets. I couldn't personally.

You can also use them all as cintiqs on windows with the superdisplay app. Which has pretty good performance over USB c. It's a little buggy here and there tho

Some more sketches. Will experiment with some new brushes sometime after breakfast. These character designs and sketches are part of a personal project I want to start sometime this fall and assemble into a portfolio.

@Marzipan Apple Thank you very much for the critique. It's been a while since someone offered to comb over my work like you have.
