Trying to get better at portraits. I am either face blind or retarded or both, so drawing realistic depictions of people has always intimidated me, but it's something I want to work on. Hopefully you can tell who these guys are?

I didn't trace these, but I did overlay the original pic when I was almost done, and then made changes based on that. It seems I have a bad habit of making the head too wide and exaggerating the length of the forehead, so that's something I'm trying to be conscientious of going forward. I tried to get a mix of phenotypes and expressions to challenge myself.

Damn, they look great. I'd say the weakest is Chibi because of the weird chin but overall, they are amazing.

Prepare your autism reactions, I'm doing shitty fashion sketches for fun and they're fucking maximalist nightmares 8)

Did one for a friend, asked her for a vague/generic prompt and she went with 'vampire'

If you're wondering if this one is based off the character you're thinking it is, and if I'm ashamed of that, the answer is yes to both :c

Some stupid ass shit i made today at class, it's the logo for an association of fat mexicans who hate Japan and it's literally called "foundation japan is shit".

Did some drawings tonight with a square of tailor's chalk.

It doesn't blur too well and smudges your fingers even more than charcoal, but the square chalk is very fun to use and gives that double-sided effect which I like. It also helps for getting the big contrasts that dark skin tends to have.
Model was a nice dude, he was blind in one eye and stuttered a lot, but pretty easygoing.

Shame he's a queer.

I love the confidence in your lines. I recommend you concentrate on that and leave the shading for later. Otherwise very good work from a life model. That’s always a challenge but a lot of fun too. I kinda miss it
