Just scribbled this one. I've been on an art comeback. It's not pretty but it's something for sure. Maybe I'll continue...

The idea with the cigarette, is it's like some clear alien container that just has the smoke already in there, see through. I thought it was funny. I love grey Roswell aliens. Maybe I'll color him in but I doubt it.
Update: it's an apparatus.

back to this character again with an homage to the original Power Girl #1 cover, she has a name now!
yeah obviously a power girl copy, im not even ashamed of it. I like power girl, she's a really cool character and it's unfortunate that DC seemingly doesn't know what to do with her. supergirl but edgy, not that hard guys. make her fight supergirl even, would be better than whatever they've been trying to do with her lately. last time I read a power girl comic, she was some sort of mind reading psychic therapist. what the actual fuck? nigga this is a kryptonian (they can't even figure that part out though), more or less equal to superman, and they have her doing low level dreamworld shit. whatever. There are two ample and supple reasons why modern DC will never allow a character like power girl to ever be good. so I stick with the god-tier conner/palmiotti run and that's good enough for me.

Vectra is a feminine name version of Vector. she controls inertia, so she's both an unstoppable force and an immovable object. which i guess would be too op, but whatever it's my character fuck you. looking back at this old post, it seems I've completely disregarded popular opinion regarding the hair and suit. but it's been almost a year. skills and tastes evolved. deal with it, nigga!

I love the confidence in your lines. I recommend you concentrate on that and leave the shading for later. Otherwise very good work from a life model. That’s always a challenge but a lot of fun too. I kinda miss it
I appreciate it, I don't really know how to start shading though. If I don't do it within the session itself it'll never get done, and there's only so far I can go just drawing lines with a pencil; I guess I just need to spend some time practicing nothing but shading technique.
I think this week's last drawing (the orange) is one of my better shading pieces even though I got the length of the body and arms way out of proportion.
