People were trying to get Chris to go to some game convention. Chris said yes, bought a ticket (technically not refundable), planned to go and then... last minute Barb said no.
I can't remember if she threatened to kill herself if he went, or if she was threatening to change the locks and kick him out, or if it was both.
(They're both techniques she uses pretty generously.)
Admittedly, in that case, Chris said he was planning on sleeping in his car or in the lobby of the hotel or some shit because he didn't get a room. Which is pretty retarded. Though we all know that's not an isolated instance of her threatening suicide, and even if it was, I'd think that sort of chimping is pretty excessive regardless.
