Man, and I had a whole thread in the works. What I posted is absolutely nothing compared to what I have in stock.

Quick update: While my group deals with Sonichu Psychology, SingstarWinner is dealing with Ren. In that, we managed to get his youtube channel.
OrangeUzume, apparently.
The message itself is funny since it starts like a threat...but it goes in a WILD direction. Sadly, it got deleted before he got a chance to read it in full.

Man, you two are giving us so much content, I am busy trying to post one thing and we already get another. At this rate, by the time we finish writing the two threads, there'll be enough material for a second set of them.

Very interesting because I'm the one that bought it. Also that this post was only made after I dropped the tape off to be transferred to digital Friday afternoon.
I've had it 2 weeks and didn't want to be a faggot and post about it without the digital file to post as well.
@85CentSoda let's compare Ebay receipts and see who got fucked more.

I for one find it wierd to own phyical media of Chris Chan videos. Though when Geno puts his series on Blu-ray, I would probally buy that

Did you also purchase the tape from the same seller tiborpuskas1965? His sold page only has this one listed, which is the one that I bought. You can see in the listing that I paid $107.50 Canadian for it plus shipping and tax on top.
Your tape is really interesting. It's clearly a Canadian tape as it has the bilingual writing on the top, which would make since given our seller is Canadian. It's also got a different texture on it as well as not being stamped "Maxell." Looks like the seller put a lot less effort into this one if they couldn't be bothered to even use an American tape, which is of course what Chris or the San Francisco based Nintendo Power would have used. It also appears to have come in a BASF VHS sleeve that's identical to the one mine came in.
Looks like someone is double dipping. I wonder if anybody else bought "the" tape?

I am sorry I haven't uploaded the footage yet, I'm in the process of working up a conversion method; analogue is such a pain. I thought my VCR had a DVD recorder, but it doesn't. I figured the actual tape data isn't that important since we already know what should be on it and I was excited to do a write up of what I had. The video is hosted on YouTube here as linked by the CWCki page. I hadn't actually considered a conversion service, nor knew that such a thing even existed. I think something like that is going to end up being cheaper/better anyways because I only have the one tape that needs to be converted.

I guess my question to you then would be did you use your own government tugboat to buy it, or did you steal one of your parent’s credit cards? No one who actually works for their money would waste it on the zoomer version of the Nigerian Prince scam.

Are you retarded? Why would I fake an ebay confirmation? I already said I didn't actually care about it and it was a gift for a friend.

In the end I don't care about if it's fake since it'll be neat to have the Animal Crossing tour video on old media since my friend is a huge christorian and got me into it. The cost is negligible for being able to pass this off as a gift and I won't need to actually find one.

I similarly can't find anything under that item ID. You can use eBay's search tool here.

I found a deleted post from reddit that seems to have people saying this can happen. I've never heard of it, but eBay sucks so I don't doubt it can happen. It's possible that this type of glitch happened with our seller, so he quickly made up your tape to make the extra cash rather than contacting eBay or canceling the sale. Give me my autism stickers, but I did pay more than you so I'm guessing I'm the legitimate "winner," so the seller gave me the "real" tape (i.e., the one actually pictured in the listing). Then he quickly mocked up the one he sent you. I don't get why he didn't put as much effort into it as the real one, assuming he made both. Using a tape with French on it is a dead give away.

He messaged me and said the top bid failed and offered a Buy It Now. GG on beating me, I had a feeling I would be outbid since it ended on a weekend morning.
