Okay, I'm still in the process of attempting to back up goddamn everything, especially in case my external HD from 2007 breaks down. I'm thinking of making a library general thread. If you think that should be made rate agree or something?

And don't fret, I do have backups of the newest videos, like the embargo, singing, etc. ones.

That would be a good idea, digital amnesia has set in on some of the less commonly referenced videos on the wiki.

What you have to realize about transgendered people is there is no one, homogeneous reason they all desire to transition genders. Chris likes to parrot the "I have always known I was a female somehow born male" reason, cuz I think it's the easiest one for him to understand and makes the most sense in his head. Even though I don't think this model describes his gender issues at all. Chris's wanting to be female comes from deep seeded issues with gender and gender identity. Look at how much he unreasonably hates males. He hates the male identity and male gender roles, because they threaten him and make him feel scared and uncomfortable. The female identity, at least in his mind, is much more calming and makes him feel secure. He genuinely gets some sort of high or tranquility from emulating women. He enjoys it. He also likes brazenly identifying as a woman any chance he gets. It's an identity thing with him.

Now as far as wanting to get the penis removed. He calmed down on that a lot once he realized most trans don't get the operation and it's not considered a requirement to identify as transwoman. He knows he needs it for the kid(s) he wants, so he wants to hold on to it until at least then. Also he wants to use it for sex. Having said that he'd love to have a vagina, and he'd be ecstatic to use one in lesbian sex. But I think Chris doesn't really know what he REALLY wants here. Don't look for this to make sense. These are the wants and desires of an autistic manbaby who thinks he can play with toys all day, but still demand the respect of an adult. Chris can be very irrational and unrealistic with his expectations out of life, even treading into the impossible. This is all a manifestation of that.

You know, looking at today's post, Chris's bra seems to be decently fitting (i.e. not one of Barb's) and more feminine than the "muscle bras" he used to wear. So, somewhere out there, there is either a rack of sweated-on bras in a couple of different sizes or a severely traumatized lingerie store worker. :'(

I recently saw this movie.
The idea conveyed in the movie (and album) is that the protagonist becomes increasingly detached from the world by building a metaphorical wall between himself and everyone else. He shifts the blame for everything onto someone else and dehumanizes the rest of the world, feeding into his delusions.
His reasons for doing this are because everyone important to him has failed him or abused him, except his over-protective mother who fostered this world-view in which he can do no wrong.
He also has fantasies of being a fascist dictator with absolute control, who crushes all in his path. His fantasy is to be like those who wronged him, but taken to the extreme.
It kinda reminds me of Chris, but with schizophrenia and drugs standing in for autism. These patterns are very common among lolcows as a whole, too.

Someone should dress a bunch of autistic kids up like Sonic with blue arms and pickles and let them loose in a mall, then slip Chris a tab of acid and give him a multishot flaregun. Drive him to the mall and let him loose in the mall and record it.

Chris childish understanding od gender roles is based on Barb and Bob: females are benevolent creatures to cuddle with who shower him with toys and praise; males are jerks who won't take his bullshit, won't get out of the way to protect his fee fees and won't apoil him.

If Chris could understand other people and society, or at least realize his relationship with his mother is creepy and unhealthy, I doubt he would identify as a lesbian of female soul in a male body.
 
This has probably been posed countless times. So forgive my noobery.

Where would Chris be if he never conceived of Sonichu? Would his life be any better or worse?

My money would be on him finding a new fixation... or simply making a Pokemon/Sonic crossover fiction.

Actually, would Chris be nearly as infamous if not for his Sonichu comic?

because he is autistic. autistic people tend to approach a problem differently and more direct. for instance chris thought "i want a girlfriend" so the most logical thing to do is advertise yourself with a attraction sign because that is the most direct method of meeting a woman interested in him. in reality the problem has a more complicated solution through social interaction and shared attraction which is something that autistic people do not excel at. so when it comes to this problem you must think what the most direct solution can be. in other words chris looked at all the straight woman and thought they all had boyfriends because they most likely told him they have boyfriends to get rid of him. so now we have the problem seemingly to him all girls have boyfriends. so what group of woman do not have boyfriends. LESBIANS ok so lesbians do not have boyfriends but they only date other lesbians so the direct answer is to become a lesbian which is what we see now.

I was just listening to one of Chris's recent videos where there was much hemming and hawing over "born Christopher, legally changed to Christian, currently going by Christine," and it suddenly occurred to me that if Chris ever legally changes names (again) to Christine, some troll is inevitably going to pop up and say they changed their name to Christian Weston Chandler and the copyright is therefor theirs now. I have no follow-up thought to this, just thought I'd share it with the class.

Chris is certainly worried about this sort of thing, as he was worried about defending his copyright even before his discovery. He recently changed his generic copyright page to read "Christine/Christian Weston Chandler." For his new paper-published comics, he's noted, "the legal page, and the corner author note on the front will be updated to respectively match my current name." So he's trying to cover himself here. Obviously he doesn't have any real understanding of the legal issues. I think there's obviously some stress created by the desire to be seen as a woman named Christine for sexual purposes, and the desire to be seen as a man named Christian for financial purposes. I don't know what steps he's taking to change his name and sex legally, but I don't think he's passive about it.

Simple, he hasn't attempted anything legally he has a obsession with his name so if he got it changed to Christine legally you know he'd be bragging about it.

I've never actually read Asperchu before but this makes me want to give it a shot, especially if there's other not so subtle references to how Chris perceives things, like him feeling like sitting around playing video games is hard work!

As for the question about how Chris would have been without Sonichu, I think even without Sonichu he'd still have been just as notorious online, if not for separate reasons, his upbringing combined with his autism has always been a mix that would lead to him lashing out at society in some shape or form. Even if he hadn't made Sonichu he would have still been a Sonic fan and made some form of a recolor, so it's a hard question to answer.
