I'm surprised these guys still watch Star Wars movies. They clearly don't like it anymore, and there's nothing wrong with that. The franchise isn't the same as it was when it started nearly 50 years ago, and even if it were, people and their tastes change. You don't have to like the same thing at 48 as you did when you were 10. In fact, you probably shouldn't.
Their "shows" are such a mess. Half in the Bag is the same as re:View, which is the same as the Black Void, which is the same as Mike and Jay Talk About -- and new movies are becoming so bad that all of the above are barely distinguishable from Best of the Worst.

The point of this exchange is to show that RLM aren't completely out of touch with reality and can admit that current Disney product is not better than what the Plinkett reviews shit on the prequels for. They aren't just blind haters. But Rich quickly has to reiterate that, yes, he is in fact a blind hater cause despite throwing one last barb at the prequels, the sequels are left completely unscathed.

Re:View was supposed to be for movies from the past that they find interesting, good or bad.
Black Void was supposed to be for arthouse crap.
Mike and Jay Talk About was supposed to be about talking about shit that doesn't fit either of the previous shows, such as analyzing the career of that one faggot who is recently in a lot of horror movies, Kyle Gallner.
Perhaps over time, they forgot but that was the initial idea of making so many shows.
Not only that.
In the past, they were tricked by the ultimate elven Antifag who had them burn, loot and murder until they were defeated by the law enforcement.

One thing that I find so... bewildering is that the sequels have true fans that aren't there just to protect the ideological and political background that created them, but because they're truly invested on the story of the movies and they will go through Olympic levels of mental gymnastics to explain the many plotholes and bad storytelling because they like the characters and some of the storylines.
In their defense, I'll say that as bad as they can be, at least they try to tell a story and they tryyy so hard to make a coherent saga; it just happens that the people involved are all idiots who can't make good stories. But the attempt is there and if you shut off your brain, you can enjoy them. If Rich Evans somehow enjoys some of this about the sequels... I guess good for him, I guess. I personally think that the plot of the prequels is more interesting than the plot of the sequels, but to each their own. Maybe Rich likes that the sequels have a more simple plot than the blockages and political shenanigans of the prequels and while I personally don't agree, I can see the point made.
And it's not that they are "better", it's just that everything related to Grogu is just to make us consume the character. There is nothing interesting about it except that it's a cute puppet. That can't sell a movie just like that. It's such a mediocre product that ain't even bad or good, it's just there.
No, this is not true, even if we ignore Rian Johnson altogether. Rise of Skywalker doesn't even fit the definition of a movie: a series of scenes played in a sequence to tell a story.
