That depends what you mean by "these countries".its interesting how in these countries there's a decent amount of people nostalgic for the USSR but when it comes to the polls communist parties in most countries (with a few exceptions like Russia) do badly
In Poland and Hungary most people, especially boomers who lived through the communist era, vote for right-wing parties like PiS or Fidesz because Poland and Hungary were treated badly by Russia.
In Russia itself people who lived through the communist era tend to be nostalgic for it because the USSR gave them a guaranteed paycheque and didn't sell the country off to oligarchs. That said, the Communist Party doesn't do that well because those people (apart from the diehard communists who vote Communist or the ultranationalists who vote LDPR) just vote for United Russia like everyone else unless United Russia screws up, which they did with pensions a couple years back.
