@Kujo Jotaro that girl is legit crazy and manages to combine the most stereotypical "qualities" of black women and redditors into one personality. I'm not sure she actually thinks that suicide baiting colleagues (which she has done) is better than crying after a difficult day at work or if that's just a huge cope.

Ackshully, the suffering (physiological reaction) involved in suffocation is caused by CO2 build-up and the body's reaction to it. Hypoxia, which is a lack of oxygen in the blood as opposed to excess CO2 in the lungs, is painless. First it kind of fucks you up, you might get dizzy or lightheaded, then it REALLY fucks you up and it's not uncommon to get euphoric or trip out before simply losing consciousness.

The purpose of using inert gas (Nitrogen, Helium, Jerry Seinfeld) in euthanasia is to make it both painless and to guarantee death - once your shit is all fucked up and you pass out from lack of oxygen, you WILL die in short order unless O2 is restored. It might take a bit for all the bodily functions to stop but you just monitor the lucky specimen's vitals and allow some EXTRA DEAD time after brain and cardiac activity has ceased.

It's actually a really good method. If I was gonna off myself I would probably get fucked up and do it this way, rather than trying something that causes horrific injury prior to death.

Monoxide is probably better although obtaining it isn't as easy, and the natural methods of generating it pose significant risks to innocent bystanders.
