I deleted my reddit account. Every thread i'm in brings up trump in someway like this arcade cabinet thread i'm in. The whole sub is used for restoring and collecting arcade cabinets and someone brought up how if they were a millionaire they would use the money to buy a simpson arcade cabinet insted of going to epstein's island. Funny because the simpson creator is on the list

Reddit has never been usable, the userbase has always been the unwanted retards that couldn't handle banter on other, better, websites and needed to retreat to their tree fort and put up their "no girls allowed" sign in order to spew their retarded opinions on everything without being called retarded for it.

And I doubt that Reddit being shut down would cause the same sort of diaspora that Tumblr caused. Tumblr was used because it was (and afaik still is) the best platform for sharing fanworks on the internet due to its fairly robust and easy to use social systems that fed you exactly what you wanted to see with minimal issue. Tumblr was abandoned because other websites like Reddit and Twitter and 4chan could also do that albeit not quite as well. People who use Reddit use it because they love the overly censorious moderation style and the karma system, no other website does that the way that Reddit does with anywhere near the reach that Reddit does. Sure there are websites that are as censored, but none of them are as large and they don't allow you to pretend to hate the mods like Reddit does, and sure there are websites that are fairly large and let you speak your mind and get stickers like Reddit does, but most of them won't ban people for wrongspeak and will allow users to some into threads or boards that they are unwelcome in repeatedly with no real consequence.

Reddit has completely cornered a niche, and Reddit users simply cannot survive outside of it, more than likely if Reddit is nuked and forces people to switch then they will simply attempt to build NuReddit somewhere else that is as identical as possible.

Its no surprise about the ice shit being spammed on every sub since this shit was already peddled 2 years ago with the #freepalestine crap that was spammed on every sub but at least with that there was some resistance against it and only lasted for a little bit. Now this ice shit is probably going to last for god knows how long and the mods are just banning people who criticize it. The only good that comes from this is hopefully watching these subs die.
