I use Reddit exclusively for Idubbbz drama and camera discussion and I get advertisements for HIV medication, schizophrenia medication and fat people "my kidneys are failing and I'm going to die without being on a dozen pills" ads. None of that shit applies to me and I don't use any subs related to it. I think it's just Reddit knowing their target audience. Your average Redditor is a gay, mentally ill obese person. That's just factual.
if the site doesn't have much data on you it just gives you random ads targeted at the average reddit user, so it's not surprising that it's trying to push ozempic, prep, programming socks and psych meds to you

Eh, I don't know. If they're litter box trained they don't really smell at all. They're like cats- constantly grooming themselves, each other and their humans
As with every pet it's a good idea to give their beds/hammocks/other stuff a good wash once in a while
Having a box for your animal to shit and piss in is going to make the smell linger. It's disgusting even if you clear it out immediately.

Show me a person who hates hamsters and guinea pigs, and I'll put them six feet in the ground WHERE THEY FUCKING BELONG.
They make really good butt plugs for rock stars.

>pfp is of a cat
>finds rats "cute"

Prove to me you're not a sick, demented cat who tortures rats for fun! Post paws!
What? This is some nonsense! Let me just snap a picture because those accusations are ridiculous!

Oh shi-!

My cornsnake never smelled bad, she just smelled like wood shavings. Snakes are cute :(

Rats definitely have a smell though, my sister kept them and they stank up the whole room even though she was diligent about cleaning. Same for bunnies. And you can smell a ferret owner from a few dozen feet away.

To this day I'm still pretty shocked that the one "full-time" Redditor I did know in real life and communicate with for a short period of time was, indeed;
1. Gay
2. Mentally Ill
3. Obese
But I suppose stereotypes exist for a reason. It's just always a surprise when you have an opportunity to see for yourself how accurate they can be.

Of course kiwifarms has a bunch of rat girls.
I heard they're pretty cool and also trainable. But they're also shortlived so you have to accept they won't be around for long.

Pretty much. They are adorable and have their own little personalities but after my two last ones died I can’t bring myself to keep them anymore.

as a former ferret owner, they are kinda not lol, they're mean, stinky little gremlins that will try their best to kill you at all times, lack of ability to do so not withstanding, they're also strange little hoarders that steal anything not nailed down to piss shit and fuck on it.

but they are extremely cute.
They will eat your face too. Evil bastards.

I assume any woman saying she has a pet rat is going to end up with a thread on the farms sooner or later.

Poster on r/twoxchromosomes describes a dream about caring for and loving a baby, and becoming so attached that she still remembers and misses the dream-baby a year later. She definitely doesn't want kids, though.

Text (from post):

Have you ever had a dream about having a baby that you didnt actually have?

I feel like every woman has had this experience at least once, where they have a dream where they had a baby and they were raising them and loving them, even if they didnt actually have a baby.tell me about your dreams like this.

mine was I had a son named Charlie. he had brown hair and brown eyes, and I fed him and burped him. I also played peekaboo with him and he laughed, and it was such a cute dream. I miss Charlie even though im 16 and dont want children. This dream was almost a year ago and I still remember it

In fairness, she's only 16, not some 40-year-old in denial, so it's not as lolcow-ish as it could be. Still sad to think that some 16-year-old girls will never grow out of this due to social/political brainwashing though, and end up denying themselves something they would clearly cherish and find joy in.
