The jews are going to start claiming the Nazis did this to them in camps, aren't they? "Oy vey! When I was a toddler the Nazis covered me in jam to keep the flies away from them as they made my mother into soap and put my father in the electric pool!"
They covered me in jam then put me on the holocoaster! As I rushed past I heard them laughing and calling me 'Ze Jam Juden'!

Reminds me of a time in elementary school a teacher told us a story of a slave who tried to steal a spoonful of molasses for a snack, so his master drowned him in an entire barrel of molasses.

Okay. Sure.
So... molasses was such a profitable commodity that a slave stealing some was punishable because it dented profits, but also so worthless that they could afford to waste an entire barrel of it just to prove a point? And slave masters were so predictably cruel that they would use extreme and lethal punishments like this, yet slaves still thought it was worth the risk just for a "snack"?

Also, google tells me that molasses was a central part of life in Appalachia and the Midwest, not the South. While I'm sure there were molasses mills in the South, it was not a central industry that American slaves would have been typically used in, unless you're referring to non-American slaves (as slaves actually were used on molasses mills in Latin America). Was your teacher talking about American slavery? Because if so, that story transcends revisionism and enters straight-up fantasy territory.

Also, BadGPT tells me that there is no historical record of such a case occurring anywhere, so apparently it's fantasy either way.

Niggers were way too valuable here, you wouldn't mistreat your horse or other animals as you wanted to get the most work here.

That's something a lot of reddit types don't understand. Slaves were very expensive and treated like an investment.

I've seen them insist that slaves were often beaten to death or killed just for fun. And all southern whites owned at least one. Like you could just roll on down to the slave store and grab 5 for a dollar or something.

So recently after the Mike Vrabel cheating story broke, I was looking for memes about it on the NFL meme subreddit, and I found this post.
This post is literally just a liberal journalist's anti-Trump tweet; it's not even Trump talking about football. The only football-related thing in this post is the Reddit title. Why is an NFL meme subreddit allowing a tweet that's not even a meme or related to football to be posted on the subreddit?

Poster on r/twoxchromosomes describes a dream about caring for and loving a baby, and becoming so attached that she still remembers and misses the dream-baby a year later. She definitely doesn't want kids, though.

Text (from post):

In fairness, she's only 16, not some 40-year-old in denial, so it's not as lolcow-ish as it could be. Still sad to think that some 16-year-old girls will never grow out of this due to social/political brainwashing though, and end up denying themselves something they would clearly cherish and find joy in.

One of the replies:

When I was 23-ish I had this very short dream.

I walked into my kitchen and my son, (12-15) dirty blonde hair that was medium length and curly, hazel eyes, was dipping a cake pop into an entire jar of peanut butter. I remember asking him why he didn't just get a cup or bowl of peanut butter instead of the whole jar!?

He laughed and was like no mom, try this!

It was delicious! His dad walked in the room and asked what we were up to and we started laughing WAY too hard.

I knew that my son was autistic. I knew that it was rare and special for him to speak. I knew that I loved him so much and we were a happy family.

Then I woke up.

2-ish years later I had my daughter. Dirty blonde hair, curly. Hazel eyes. On the spectrum. Non-verbal.
Woman has Munchausen by proxy dream that gave her munchie euphoria. Later has child who just so happens to have exact same trendy Very Special Kid "disorder".

Whenever a woman tells me her kid is non verbal I immediately assume she's a psychopath. I've heard too many of them revel in it. That plus the fact that it seems to have gone up 500,000% in the last ten years.

Let's hope she doesn't decide her daughter is actually a son to make her really match her dream.

/r/Nebula discusses how Tom Scott hates Reddit:
tomreddit1.png
The link is to a 2018 page on Tom Scott's site that is pretty damning. Tom talks about how Reddit is known for harassment campaigns, which is 100% true (anybody remember the Boston Bomber?)
tomreddit2.png
The worst part is how Reddit got close to doxing him, and not only that, they vandalised his Wikipedia article as well. I don't even know why they would do this, it's not like Tom Scott was canceled in 2018.
tomreddit3.png
Reddit starting harassment campaigns and cowtipping people they deem acceptable targets is not surprising. What is surprising is that nobody seems to even know about the shit they did to Tom Scott.

But none of those reasons are good enough for this Redditor, who says that he should change his mind because Reddit is "mainstream."

Gee, I wonder why Tom wouldn't change his mind about a site that almost-doxed him for no reason and vandalised his Wikipedia page for laughs, especially when that site still facilitates harassment campaigns to this day with basically no intervention from the admins.

They already have. I had the displeasure of watching "Marty Supreme" recently. In the movie one of the characters recounts how he was in the camps but allowed to leave to do some job in the forest. He didn't run away so that he can find bees nests in the forest, slather himself in honey, and then come back to camp with it under his clothes so the other jews can lick it off him.

Great article. here's the ending:

The subreddit's been set to private, and the automoderator and spam filter have been set to automatically remove any new posts and comments. I'd ask, please, that you not try and set up a backup subreddit to replace this.
And yes, I'm sorry; I apologise that this isn't the sort of message you'd hope to get from me, and that it's such a sudden end.

but uhhhhh, https://old.reddit.com/r/TomScottYouTube - https://ghostarchive.org/archive/IemDq

> a community for 5 years

so i guess they re-opened it against his wishes? it even has a link to his website in the sidebar.

edit; my bad. realised that there is /r/tomscott (private) and /r/tomscottyoutube - not private. i guess he's content at getting the bigger one.

The worst of New World slavery happened on the Carribean sugar plantations where people were in fact frequently punished by amputations, being forced to eat shit or just outright whipped to death: There is a reason these places had annual death rates on par with Gulags or concentrations camps and were dependent on constantly replenishing the slave stock. By comparison in the South had beatings and lashings as common punishments as was breaking up families after escape attempts or transferring slaves from privileged positions as house slaves/tradesmen to field work but death rates were vastly lower and slave populations naturally grew over time (in fact European indentures were often treated worse than slaves due to their contracts being time-limited, see also the Plantation America series by James LaFond).

Found on r/autismmemes and crossposted from aspiememes. I don't think I'll ever understand what these people want. I'm fine with subsidizing actual down-syndrome blockheads who never mentally advanced past the age of 10 if I have to. You don't deserve my taxes for liking trains a little too much.

The rest of the subreddit aren't even really memes, it's either depressing sob-stories or whiney garbage with too much text. I've never seen so much victim mentality in what's supposed to be a meme subreddit.

So much of it just hyperfocuses on the worst aspects of autism. I don't get how the "autistic communities" online make such a big deal out of being autistic and how terrible they have it only to screech whenever doctors actually try to find cures. I don't know if there ever will be a cure or if it's even possible, but they become absolutely deranged whenever it is implied that it's something that can be solved or treated.

Being the autistic fuck i am:
  • Learn to sleep in-work or lunch time, dumbass.
  • Get with the people just a little, not over-social.
  • Just do your work.
With those rules in mind, my week passes more fast than my expectations of the future.
