reddit General

The bad English is part of "le funny"
Not really. It is just brown posters, but their bad English adds to the humor on shitpost subs so they get a pass.

Most of them work in California, so not toeing the line and repeating the mantra of leftism would get them blacklisted from the industry.
This is my theory on why Scientology did so well. It was full of loser dead-end actors that were hopeful it would boost their chances at getting gigs.

I still had time to play vidya and be comfy later on.
The other upswings are that A: you get to leave your job at the door and not have to perpetually think about every second of your life as time you could spend making content and B: your line of work doesn't rot out your relation to video games by making you see them as just an extension/vector of your job.

They're phasing out old.reddit now by doing this:

You guys ever see those posts about on horrific crimes of pedophilia, rape and human sex trafficking, animal cruelty, elder abuse or blood-thirsty murders and a bunch have redditor's in the comments have to say "not a drag queen" or go on a political spurge about the left wing being superior. Yeah there's monsters on both political sides but it's so shameful and fucked up for redditor's to force their political views down people's throats on actual criminal cases and events they literally care more about propaganda rather than victims. Yet they say conservatives have no "empathy".

Not sure if it fits here or on the Epstein thread but this is really more of a reddit thing and perfectly fits their performative bullshit about on Epstein there and the reason why the entire thing has gone tits up and fizzled out.

Some redditor decided they wanted to make sure that the Epstein files aren't buried so they made a site to archive it all. Sounds good right? Wrong. Redditors are extremely skilled at enshittifying everything and making even the best of intentions go awry. (Link) (Archive)

They talk big game, but the issue is all of this has already been done by other people and shared around. Furthermore there is the fact that their entire website seems to be a vibecoded piece of shit with overly heavy JavaScript and interface, some sort of social media features added as well like a mini reddit for threads on "investigations"(???), search feature which WORSE than the one in the official DOJ website and which forces you to repeat your search every time you want to look at the next document that mentions whatever you looked for and has no preview.

Oh and the best feature of all: Upon opening the site it RANDOMLY CHOOSES A FILE AND DISPLAYS IT! INCLUDING VIDEO AND AUDIO!

Because that is a great idea! Just randomly flash anything from a bank statement, to a mundane email, to a interview where a victim is describing her rape to fucking sex toy collections in the Saint James rape room at random!

None of these people care. None of them are actually gonna look into shit. Most of them will check one or two searches, likely being Trump or Hillary, and then drop it.

The two most annoying things about Reddit is that it swallowed up all the niche forums so if you need help with a specific thing you are going to usually need to go to Reddit, and the second most annoying thing is most users can't help you with your problem but reply anyway with stupid tangential shit that in no way helps you with your problem.
Theoretical Ex: my showerhead won't come off, how do I loosen it?
Comment: you should put water softening filters on your water line
bumping my old post because it is still relevent and i realized i missed a part. they just want you to know they are smarter than you and dont actually want to help, even with their tangential bullshit. using the example above the conversation would continue as follows
Theoretical Ex: my showerhead won't come off, how do I loosen it?
Comment: you should put water softening filters on your water line
"okay how do i do that?"
"im not going to tell you, you have a computer and internet. You're welcome!"

Discovered a new way to ragebait myself:
1. Go to transport/vehicle subreddit and find posts about trucking industry
2. Read comments about "um, actually English isn't the official language of the United States so you don't need to learn it" and "why are you so upset about someone just trying to make an honest living? Pretty racist, bro."
3. Enjoy the cortisol spike.

Reddit lefties only started caring about Epstein once they learned they could force their TDS into it. Before Trump became associated with it was relegated to the conspiracy subs and people would mock you for bringing it up. It was considered "right-wing coded" and dismissed if you tried to bring up elite powerful people being involved in it. Suddenly Trumps name comes up and it's "WE GOTTA INVESTIGATE THIS!" it's just transparent and sickening.

I think “reddit” is starting to lose its term. I mean there a a bunch of xitterniggers and even projecting redditroons that would accuse you of being a Reddit if:

1. You like some memes (not just those lolcow “wholesome 100 big Chungus Keanu Reeves which are Reddit bc of r/“dank”memes or other pre-2020s memes but also just memes in general)
2. You don’t like other dogshit social media/websites like Xitter, 4chan, and/or TikTok
3. You’re against degeneracy
4. You hate fandumbs (furfags, weebs, emos, etc.)
5. You’re not into politics (I might be schizo for adding this one on this list)

This post is borderline incomprehensible. Just a long string of buzzwords slapped together.

Same thing with the whole "not a drag queen" and "not a immigrant" comments on posts about gruesome criminal cases. I mean yeah predators will be on both sides and they must be exposed but in reddit's case they care more spreading their far left propaganda instead of helping actual victims.
