Why are the reddit admins such joyless buzzkills? I always thought that quarantining edgy subs was a fair compromise; it's not viewable by non-account havers, and doesn't appear on the popular page, but all the content is still there for those that opt in to see it. It blows my mind that these absolute fucking dorks have no problems inviting Ghislaine Maxwell, a convicted sex trafficker, to a holiday party, and hiring Aimee Challenor, an open pedophile, with a convicted sex offender father, who "she" covered for, as a site admin, but then get their panties in a bunch over people expressing any opinions that aren't "Wholesome 100 Keanu Big Chungus" in a meme sub. Ever since Steve returned to Reddit in 2015 one of his main missions was to combat the 'hate.' And recently this March the company announced a new CFO along with an announcement of an IPO. Which means all of this bullshit is a scheme to cash in on what's left of the site.
