Ivermectin isn’t just for horses, rabbits get it for ear mites and fleas as well and as you said, also used off label for humans

medicines can get used for all sorts of animals for all sorts of things. viagra cures jet lag in hamsters for fuck's sake. the idea that a horse dewormer might help against corona is not absurd at all. thinking it's impossible is just naive teleology.

no dog in this fight, no idea if it works or not (it probably doesn't, because any given drug has a low probability of helping -- base rate), it just annoys me seeing the obviously politically motivated condemnation (and support) of some chemical.

I am honestly amazed that site is worth going to at all anymore. Pretty much every sub is either a political circlejerk, Commie circlejerk, vaccine circlejerk, or some variable of acceptable opinion circlejerk. r/SubredditDrama is flooded with provax shilling, r/JusticeServed is full of mask cucks laughing at boomers, there are dozens of blatantly pro-China subs worshipping Mao and calling any criticism of the PRC racism.
