Even people that don't have autism, and likely have some other disorder are being classified as autists just because they're socially awkward.

This is of course a problem because a shit ton of zoomers and alphas are socially awkward due to the breakdown of community, terminal lack of touching grass, and constant ass patting over "anxiety" while having to walk over eggshells because accidentally offending someone is apparently one of the worst things you can do.

"My son has autism! He hasn't really had a girlfriend despite being 20, and he played video games all the time as a kid." He could have autism, or maybe it's because you sat his ass down infront of a TV screen since he was a little kid while not encouraging him to do anything else because if you did he would throw a tantrum.

I suspect the autism "diagnoses" are going to rise 200%+ once these Ipad toddlers get older.

Fun fact, autists by their nature overlap heavily with the dark triad. No one wants to talk about it, though, because you can't possibly say the people who have almost no empathy and are extremely self-centered are the same as other people who have almost no empathy and are extremely self-centered. Then we all have to pretend to be shocked when they do something horrific, like Chris-chan fucking his mom.
