Aside from what's already been said, your disgust at him being used as a source of information is very ignorant considering the website you're posting this on and how it's been treated by the wider sphere of Internet culture commentators. This forum is used constantly as a source of information by people large and small, from all political backgrounds, all walks of autism, but its name is so marred by controversy and bad stigma that for years it was nigh unnameable, forbidden to be cited as a source of information lest your entire name and credibility be thrown out and you become branded with the entire scarlet alphabet. Many people on this site hated that it was being treated this way, to the point that when Mutahar openly credited the Kiwi Farms in his video on Keffals it was met with universal praise, some even going so far as to not make fun of him for being Indian.

When you try to use Rev's opinions and mannerisms as justification to write off his ability to gather information and the validity of that information, as well as writing off his ability to present it all in a digestible format, you come off as petty and autistic. In fact the entire OP reads like one long autistic tirade, but I know that the point of this website is to make fun of people on the Internet so I'm not going to deduct points for it being incredibly biased and full of superfluous jokes. However I can tell you that it's not funny. The only reason I finished reading it was so I could write this post, and I'm someone who was already interested enough in the topic to come here from the Sektur thread where conversation about him initially started brewing. If you lost my attention, you're certainly not going to gain the attention of anyone who's completely new to this realm of autism. My advice: Stop trying to be funny. Keep the OP contained to who he is and what he's done, if he's an interesting enough lolcow then that's all you'll need to get people's eyes on him and the thread.

The OP is okay and you're putting a lot of work into it, but it honestly feels like you're yelling at me while I read it. In my personal opinion threads need to document as impartially as possible. We know it's a lolcow. We know you're talking about things a lolcow did so they are either funny or terrible, but a lot of this gives the feeling that you're too invested (and outraged) instead of only documenting. I want to talk about his Vtuber avatar for a minute and how it reflects his content.

His vtuber avatar is based his Youtube profile picture, which is a picture taken from the anime Love Live! School Idol Project of the character Nico Yazawa.

For those that do not know of Love Live, it is an idol anime that aired in Spring 2013. That said, the character of Nico Yazawa got popular in anime meme clips that circulated around 2016, the time that Rev created his channel on Youtube. For the 2-3 ish years that Rev has been stalking my recommended feed, I believe that he has used this potato looking anime girl as his Youtube Profile picture.

That said, this has not been the only female used as an avatar in Rev's Content.

Remember that before using his Vtuber avatar, he used used anime screenshots as the primary visual to his content.

Before 2022, there were 2 images that you would likely see in the first 20 seconds of a Rev video. Either a fanart image of Megumin from Konosuba scrolling at a computer or Shinobu from Bakemonogatari speaking at a microphone.


These images seemed to act as Rev's commentary channel avatar in his videos. The video would start with their appearance, switch to some tweets or screenshots as Rev talked, and would be flipped back to when something important was not on screen. Sometimes anime characters that were popular that season or relevant to topic would show up instead of these, but the most common images to find in a Rev video prior to 2022 video were these 2.

I would like to note that both anime girls on screen have been the source of various amounts of anime sperging.

Megumin is a popular character in Konosuba, another anime that got popular around 2016. The character is well liked for being a retarded anime girl and among certain circles for being a 13-14 year old in series.

Shinobu from Bakemonogatari may actually be the origin point of the "600 year old vampire that looks 8" given the age of the source material and the popularity of the series.

Both are sus at best anime avatars to use as the visual filler to his commentary vids. In context it makes sense to draw and retain his audience of libertine individuals with both audio and visuals.

Rev changed his in video avatar around 2021-2022 with the introduction of the Vtuber avatar. 2022 was when the Live-2d program (a rigging program for making the vtuber models) was becoming notably more popular to create with, and therefore people with money could commission artists to create these models for use in streaming. Rev with his commentary ad money probably thought it would be fun to hop into the vtuber /streaming stuff and got himself an avatar.


As you can see, Rev's avatar is sort of a translation of the original Nico Yazawa pfp into a vtuber model. There are changes to the design with the black t-shirt with moon runes and cross choker. Id say this weebpunk look is the ideal girl of someone like Rev, even with the knowledge that he is currently married to a fat woman.

I would make an immediate assumption of Autogynephilia, if not for the fact that it is a modification of his "channel mascot" making some amount of autistic sense, and just checking "not yet/soon" into the AGP column. For now his vtuber avatar means that he gets to keep an anime girl on screen to attract the sort of bottom barrel "people" that listen to these "news" videos.

To try and tie this history of his avatar(s) into an actual point; they do reflect on his content. Sus images over the audio of a dude reading screenshots to the applause of the bottom end of the bell curve. The pictures may be self selecting as someone who clicks on the picture of a retarded anime girl from an 11 year old show for ""news"" on either weeaboo shit or culture war shit OR both at the same time is the type of person that does not care OR likes Rev's kind of content.
