Just found out one of my friends killed himself last night.

He used the gun I sold to him.

Not sure what to think right now. Fuck.

RIP

Another legendary NHL goalie has passed away. Hall of Famer, Bernie Parent, who spent most of his career with the Philadelphia Flyers, passed away this morning at the age of 80.

The highlight of his career came during the 1973-74 and 74-75 seasons when he led his team to back to back Stanley Cup victories, he won the Conn Smythe Trophy (awarded to the MVP of the playoffs) both years, and won the Vezina Trophy back to back (awarded to the best goalie in the league.)

** most-egregious

😉
Nope. It isn't a compound adjective. It's a superlative adjective. You don't hyphenate intensifying constructions because an adjective and its intensifier are inherently unified. You'd only be correct in old-fashioned writing or speech where some Victorian toff says something like, "I've made a most-egregious error."

😉

I usually loathe grammar/spelling sperging but somehow you lads have managed to make it funny this time. Well done (I think?).

Possibly related to undiagnosed CTE? Article doesn't mention it, but that ailment has been known to lead former NFL players down self-destructive paths.

On any case, RIP Rudi.

(And, as a lifetime fan, we're sorry the Detroit Lions (probably) killed your career.)
