I don't think anything has changed. Rose is still extremely immature when it comes to criticism and hasn't attempted to improve her work at all. She has as many "haters to the left" stamps as ever.

She and her boyfriend don't even converse that often, at least on DA.

He seems a lot more together than Rose, I can say that much. Types pretty poorly though. He also once told Rose that he has a girlfriend in real life, so apparently she's okay with that.

Just please don't pester her on it. Her Steven is grossly out of character and completely bland, sure, but since she mostly only RPs with herself she's not bothering anyone else with it. It's her sandbox to play in, don't go barging in to knock down her sandcastle.

I dunno. I admit that I've RPed with myself at times in the past, but only if I was in a "I want these characters to interact but I'm the only one who can write them the way I like" sort of mood. RPing with others is usually vastly more fun, though.

I've offered to RP with her before, but she's never seemed very interested. :/

That's the thing, I'm pretty sure she is. In spite of her online friends, she still feels the need to talk to herself. Maybe she thinks she can't connect with anyone else. She's her own delusional therapist, in a way.
