I've had the same opinion for years, though here's a very cynical catch. Even though many people may not like it, it actually benefits large corporations because regulations stomp out competition by their very nature of putting up red tape and hurdles to go through. Websites like Discord and Roblox actually benefit by doing nothing because that means a future competitors cannot rise and offer better services because of said newly created red tape would bog down a service. Whether it be via software bloat, extra costs, etc.

Call me a cryptobro for this idea and all, but a blockchain-based RoCleaner would be cool to see. I would have to think through it more, but perhaps there could be some type of way to have non-fungible tokens be banned lists for certain demographics. There are blockchain ecosystems out there (like Sui) that allow for dynamic field update calls to update the token in question.
Decentralized nature where no one can do anything to it is the one thing block chain tech has going for it.
