However, I myself was incredibly surprised by how many of them were porn addict furries. To me, Ruben's Law works for any person above 18. If they aren't a porn addict, they're most likely a minor.

I wouldn't go after them (or even bring a lot of attention to them) because one of their members are 13 (and the one going by "anon" might be 15 though we haven't confirmed their identity). But seeing how one of their members went after one of GMD's victims saying that their victimhood was "invalidated" because they "snitched"; and that part of the teaser of their doc was them saying, "Well, it's on the parents for not watching their kids playing porn games on Roblox! The thing that most people new to hating furries (and anime fans, don't think you fuckers are exempt) is that their origins are built upon pure evil. E621 and FurAffinity started off with "cub" (art of minors) and AO3 as started because livejournal had a massive child pornography purge. Dragoneer only banned it because they got flak from payment providers, and E6 still provides cub and other awful tags, but you need an account to remove the global blacklist. The first cons were also massively degenerate, featuring fake kink slave auctions. Robert Crumb, the animator for fritz the cat which was one of the first movies to feature furries in adult environments, doesn't need to be talked about. Go look up a picture of him on google that's all you need.
This inherent evil has been responsible for most of it's later vices and problems. From the normalization of sexualizing characters from children's media, to how all drama in the furry fandom is like something out of a permanent high school, to the baby-ish way they talk online.
The best you any furry can be on this problem is ignorant. Why do they not try to remove it? Well, they did try. Back with the burned furs. The problem is that back then, sick weirdos outnumbered any reasonable person attempts to go on a crusade or movement against this type of stuff always fails, because pedophilia is too deeply ingrained in furry culture.
Ironically, and I do very much believe this, the only way for furry to improve is culture erasure. The reason furries have been appearing more "normal" is just due to the fandom ballooning in size, and more not-much-adjacent people joining. Any mass influx of people will erode the traditional culture, and thankfully, part of that culture being eroded is the normalization to pedophiles. Of course, it's not fully gone. Most new furries from the influx don't even know about this background. Hopefully, this can be brought up (from the inner circle, as attacks from the outside tends to make them curl up) and if these new fans can care even half as much about pedophillia as they do about someone saying the n word, then things might heal.
