I think I'd forgotten just how creepy this fucker looks IRL. Every pore of him just exudes pretention and smug. Can't imagine being in his company for more than a few seconds without retching.

Genuine opinion, I like the second addition cover of the book. Gives me vibes of art you'd see on greek pottery. But I'm gonna be honest, even if I like it, anything would've been better than the fetish fuel on the first addition cover. Imagine reading that shit in public.

New animation just dropped
Along with his audiobook
30 hours and 9 mins of him reading his magnus opus, with music and i'm willing to bet detailed sound effects.
Can't wait to hear him describe each female characters' massive boobs and jungle crotch then gushing sounds of vilt on the floors.

I mean. Pretty much.

While everyone who creates anything and doesn't commit an hero is arrogant ans falls short of their inspiration and rivals. after all, what is art but looking at the universe. Observing gods creation. And saying "I think I could do it a bit better than the almighty".

The thread was founded partially upon him being an arrogant bastard. But it's not the arrogance that's his issue. All creators worth a damn are arrogant. But moreover his pathetic failure to measure up to his own ego. I don't mind the constant shit talking. I do mind the severe lack of shit walking tho.

Ludwig's new design looks pretty good and he actually stayed with his promise of doing the animation unlike the Freyda one he seems to be talking about doing, but there's issues with the lighting. Half of the time, I could not see what was going on.

There are also way too many sfx and not enough animation. I get lightning because the song is literally called Thunderbringer, but Sam went all out on the lightning sfx and made Ludwig's movements only a few arm swings and walking.

There's still the reoccurring issue with showing thirty seconds to a minute of something that isn't that relevant to the animation and showing clips from other animations which takes away from the effort put into this one.

He also says the second edition is out, but it hasn't been updated digitally yet.

Q&A stream he did. Gave us a preview of his next book and a reading of the second edition.
I physically can not handle listening to him outwardly describe the characters bodies but, I endured...somewhat.

Got distracted by this comment though and, it makes no sense. Yeah, breasts aren't sexual organs, but for someone who yaps about evolution and nature's necessity, kivs wouldn't need breasts or nipples if they aren't breastfeeding their young. So, they are very much sexual in this case. And if kivs don't have sexual organs like ours, while is it in the bushy crotch area LIKE OURS? They already had a weird and frankly, unique method of reproduction when they would basically secrete their genetic material from their skin. Especially for their weird need to found and rub against the corpses. He just won't admit it's part of a weird fetish he has.
He can't even call it artistic erotica
I've seen Greek plates with more sexual subtly.

The "boob wars" (yes the community calls it boob wars), were commonplace in the discord. Thanks to the discord constantly going "why the breasts" and "why only female nipples" he changed it so that some males have now nipples too.
He says nipples are there because they put out an attractive scent (why have breasts though then, they literally have no utility).
If the universe would need male and female to reproduce, the scent thing would be more logical. But they can reproduce with anyone so... Male nipples should be then just as common as female nipples. Not that these nipples even make any sense.
We know why it's there obviously.

But the going on "why breasts are here" is aaancient, everyone asks it because they so obviously make no sense that everyone is wondering - and he hasn't given any good explanation to this day.
How many times I had to read in this book "soft, smooth belly" or "formidable bosom" is more than I can count because it's every female character description. Having to also see all these illustrations with big breasts and wide hips is just :lossmanjack:

Did you know Fennah that women developed to have wide hips so childbirth is more successful/easier? Did you also know that an alien species where babies burst out of their stomach and chest wouldn't need wide hips?

Proceeds to then say in the Q&A that he is not a furry because furry is someone with a fursona
No Fennah, the moment you created Lucy Lacemaker, gave her wide hips and started making bukake porn of her is the moment you became a furry.

Recently had a friend say that his wife asked him to buy her "Amygdala" for Christmas. After determining that yes, it was in fact Sam Fennah's Amygdala and not some similarly named book, I asked him if he knew what the book contained. He didn't. Fucking bizarre to have to break it to a guy that his wife is getting into edgy furry coomer garbage.

But anyway, he started looking into reviews of the book and they seem to be mostly positive? Even the 1-2 star reviews on Goodreads lean more towards "Golly I hope Fennah grows and learns as a writer so his next book is even better" rather than anything about the questionable content..? It would make sense that the people purchasing the book would be fans already, but that fact that it seems that almost no one outside of his circle bothered to buy/review the thing is notable. I would have expected at least one upset parent or something.

Oh, on amazon there used to be 1 star negative comments about the book. And not just how it comes in the mail broken.
I remember specifically a review mentioning how the book was basically smut, then suddenly it's gone. I have seen 4 star reviews that had to complain about the book because the 1 stars wouldn't show up.
I really don't understand how Fennah expects to market the book outside his circle because even as you read it, you can tell that he expects you to already know what half the lore and who the characters are. On top of him double-dipping his books as he wants to make two different editions for every one, and the second editions are basically just, the fixed version.

I got screenshots of all the new stuff added so you guys don't have to spend 50 dollars on another copy of the book just for a few tweaks (note this is unless you have the ebook, in which you can just update your copy to the second edition completely free)

New animation just dropped
Got an old winifred design callback, the walk cycle also is just, ridiculous as there isn't any proper weight in each stride and her digigrade legs wouldn't, or at least, shouldn't move like that.
They'd have to step wider, not this tippy toe brisk walking.

Oh my god, that one youtube review really got under Fennah's skin. And people still shit-talk her for doing an honest review.
