Posted earlier in thread how his Lacemaker character's jaw looks like it hinges similarly to a frog's. All of his characters reflect his poor knowledge of anatomy. Even a fictional alien race needs to be logically designed and his are not.

Do his asspatters know they're essentially creaming themselves over the dancing baby gif from the 90s.
Did none of them notice how the entire video doesn't even have a background?
Just flat walls, and as we see from the pinstripe suit, he's not very good at applying textures.
That's probably why his characters are almost all furry and/or very dark, he just picks one color and lets the physics engine handle all the hard work like making shadows and depth.
Take away that and the generic anthro body (with a toothy grin! such edge!) and you've got animations that can be handled by modified mo-cap.

Would also explain why his furry characters don't have any paw pads, just apply fur all over the body. It's not like paw pads aid in traction or anything. You'd think such and advanced intelligent species that could control their DNA would understand this.

Yes Sam, I can't believe they didn't put as much effort as you do into an final year project that can become completely University IP if the University decides it wants it (depends on the University/country, but you'll find most will have a similarly-worded Intellectual Property clause). They're not being smart by keeping their good/monetize-able work for themselves, they just suck at animating I guess.

Gonna be honest I dont like these designs at all, Lucy Lacemaker in particular. It's like the Hazbin Hotel designs gone completely berserk.

One thing that bothers me about Lucy for some reason, other than the horrible color scheme, is the stupid polka dots scattered on her fur. They are so ugly. Maybe they'd be better if they were stripes? But it just makes her look like she has chicken pox or something.

I think it's mostly the color scheme. Her white is almost the same as sweat stains on socks after not being washed for three days. on top of the unusual shade of red- kind of like a mix between a scarlet and amber color- just ruins it all around. If it was a more pure shade of white and possibly a shade of red that you'd find to be on a cats fur it would look a bit more natural.
At least after I thought about it Lucy's color scheme ruins pretty much the whole thing to me- I haven't been able to look at her without cringing a little every time.

Funny he brings up logic vs. emotion. His characters seem overly emotional and lash out a lot. Lucy choked that squirrel for no reason, and his own character beat up a kid because I guess he had an ugly face. I'm sure he has the excuse that his characters just have bad days or something, that doesn't make it sound abusive. In fact his OCs whole culture is built on violence and humiliation. That doesn't sound logical.
