Sam Hyde

  • 🐕 I am attempting to get the site runnning as fast as possible. If you are experiencing slow page load times, please report it.
The thread regulars constantly shit on Sam but the second someone disagrees with a tourist people start screaming about e-daddys. It's incredibly fucking annoying.
Yeah none of these niggers even went back like a single page to see all the highly critical posts of Extreme Peace after Mr. Hyde's gorilla nest assembly tutorial got highlighted. Maybe you could say this thread was "nonstop glazing their e-daddy" at one point but it sure as hell isn't now. I recognize pointing this out is useless because tourists are medically braindead but still.

Redbar is insufferable. No matter how much anyone hates Joe Rogan and his gaggle of mediocre to terrible comic friends, Redbar is worse than all of them. Even Bert. I mean the guys entire persona is shitting on comedians on some faggy reaction channel. He acts like a scorned lover. Seems like he is always cracked out, too. Annoying voice and cadence, not witty or funny.

Why does he seethe so hard about comedians anyway? Did he get molested by a comic at a club or something? Did Joe Rogan fuck his girlfriend? Weird to base your entire life and career around recording pissy reactions.
I actually like Redbar because he comes off like a 2000s shock jock (which he actually was) in 2025. For a man whose physically disabled and Jewish he manages to put out a high energy 9 hour show every week, can't hate his game.

Also I didn't know that about the rap music stuff, I've only heard him making fun of rap, that's very funny.
I don't have it handy but there was an old PGL clip of him getting into it with the bic wigger about how much he hates rap and how (in his words) it's just derivative of blues.

I remember that clip very distinctly, I think it was my first introduction to bicflame lmao. Totally makes sense that he used to listen to it. He probably learned that Tupac was a fag and got mad at rap.

He claimed to own a comedy club (it was like a one or two night event at a night club) and committed credit card fraud of his business partner by charging literally all of his personal expenses to the company credit card including food delivery, cabs and his Internet services while pretending to be rich. The total amount of “work” he did amounted to intro dvds for the feature and headliner while taking all the credit for it. When his business partner found out he canceled all the services paid for with fraud including his website and podcast. Mike lied to fans and claimed this was a “takeover” because all the comedians who knew what he did sided with his business partner instead of him, so for the 15 or so years since he’s blamed comedians for his own fault.

He basically lost all his friends and supporters and became a hermit since no one wants to work with him.

The fanboys, by far. In Sam's defense, I think he was actually very funny back in the day, and he did build a platform where other more talented people could shine, I still watch the vertical videos from time to time and other old MDE stuff and have a good time, but since he started making dad simulator videos the fanbase changed and became a cult. It got even worse after the Idubbz doc, where I suspect most of the Samtrannies ITT come from. I remember back then MDE fans used to troll Sam non-stop and it was part of the joke and I think it made him a better comedian, now they all just pretend him burping into the mic is le comedy gold and call you a tranny jew if you don't think otherwise. They are very salty because this crashout interrupted the non-stop glazing ITT and go into defense mode, if this was 10-15 years ago everyone would be making edits of Sam in a jungle looking like a gorilla or something, it could be the start of something similar to the shooter meme, but they preffer to run damage control for their e-daddy.

honest question- in which era of MDE were the fans trolling sam non-stop? I only found out about them when World Peace began and he had what seemed like a totally unified army of supporters in their subreddit and on 4chan. I dont recall seeing criticism, even mild stuff online anywhere from his fans. My understanding is that prior to wp and maybe even during/after he actually paid people to incessantly post about about him on 4chan as a form of guerrilla marketing and that it actually worked, but the drawback is that a lot of the fans he got were deranged 4chan spergs wh worshipped everything he made regardless of quality and would rush to defend him against any criticism whatsoever.

Having fun at someone else's expense by physically intimidating them while knowing they couldn't fight back is extremely disrespectful. I remember Mirko Cro Cop and Bas Rutten (professional MMA fighters) doing something similar to a journo who allegedly "disrespected" them. It's 100% meathead behavior. Sam should've drawn the line with the Lena Dunham self defense situation bit.
This reminds me of an anecdote Paul F Tompkins told once about interviewing Ken Shamrock for an internet short. Tompkins asked Shamrock to show him some moves down on the mat expecting to play it up for comedic effect but Shamrock felt disrespected somehow by the interview and ended up actually hurting him with some wrestling holds. Tompkins described Shamrock’s demeanor as “I don’t know if you’re making fun of me, but just to be safe I’m going to hurt you to show you who’s boss.”

It wasn't hyperagressive or critical but for example people used to make jokes about him on the old MDE youtube channel that got deleted and he used to reply a lot in the comments, it was just banter really, but it felt a lot more organic and "horizontal" and with way less dick riding, it was parasocial for sure but it wasnt culty. Originally the shooter meme was a bit like that, afaik he wasnt always comfortable with it, but he ended up owning it. I don't know how things were in their subreddit. Now people in the comments say shit like "thank you Sam for showing me Christ! you are the only comedian keeping comedy alive!", its crazy, it makes me think they are bots. But yeah during the WP era everyone was backing them up. But even then, if you listen to the conversation he had with Tim Heidecker after WP got cancelled, Sam says something like "half my audience thinks I'm a fucking loser" because Tim was saying everyone trolling him was part of Sam's online army or something like that.

You just described what's happening in the YouTube comments right now.
Yeah obviously there's more retarded comments than ever but that's true of the entire internet.

Also if you took five minutes to actually read this thread you'd know it's not "non-stop glazing". The vast majority of people here talk shit about Sam. Specifically the reception around Extreme Peace has been mostly mixed with the general consensus being that it's not as good as WP.

That's because you're inventing head canon around a YouTube comments that were written by children and third worlders. Just stop spamming "edaddy" at people who disagree with you itt and people will stop being mad at you.
I still think some ITT fit that fanboy description I made, but yeah sorry if I put all of you guys in the same bag.

I don't know, I got more of a laugh out of Kill All the Gays (And The Faggots) than anything Sam has done.

His video on Joe Rogan meeting Harlan Williams also has value. It's a tidy little window into how people like Rogan are morphing into the new normal. Vaguely right-wing people who aren't right-wing enough to solve any problems and don't have any mind for politics. They just get a surface glance at Current Thing and provide nothing new to the discussion.

I do like the aggression in this thread whenever it gets featured for anyone who is remotely a fan of MDE. If you don't think some nothing podcast spergout is a big deal or you are giving negative ratings you are glazing Sam Hyde.
I'm worried the alternative is this thread being filled with the sort of people Sam pays to stand around him, looking small and weak so he feels powerful.

Good. The weak should fear the strong.
I've made a boatload of posts in this thread calling Sam a faggot you numbskull. Saying this Harland guy isn't funny and that the weasels that have wandered in to dickride his gay shit are annoying
Yes. This is peak Redditor behavior. "How dare you not think that my e-daddy Harland's hyuck hyuck so random nonsense is the peak of comedy??? Didn't you know he was in some movies 30 years ago?????? UHHH U MUST WORSHIP SAM"

It's just fucking dumb, frankly.

The funny thing is you don't even have to be a fan of MDE at all for these people to start sperging out at you. You just have to not be 100% on board with this cringy Two Minutes Hate thing, and God forbid you suggest that hasidic Harland is an unfunny kike.

Also, I find the comparison to Matan Even to be slightly untrue. Matan is still young and his random moments seem to be a bit that Sam enjoyed, especially with him bringing random Indian people with on the spot.

Harland is a true and tried professional that really just seem to mirror Sam to a point where he was better at making meta humor than him. If anything, Sam needs to get him on his self titled show as a personal favor.
Harland on Matan's show was hilarious because he immediately recognized the gag, leaned in to it and made funny comments on Matan's gotcha questions before changing his answer to something more offensive. Matan was fighting for his life to not laugh for 90 percent of the show.
