Thank you I love you (no homo).

That's pretty good. I like Nick's streams. He's acknowledging the elephant in the room and the obvious analogues to previous stuff. I am pretty sure that he's doing a bit, but I also don't know behind the scenes whether shit's actually good or bad. Of course Sgt. Schultz has to be a bleached-asshole faggot and just "no, but" the whole thing just in case any dents don't get the irony, fucking Sam-ass move running damage control over a bit. I liked Chris better than him, that fucking caveman at least had some moments.

Schultz is prob better than Neptroon at least...well I say that but honestly I think he's just better at being a faggot and milking the audience, but he probably fucks with the flow more and costs us more bits than low-energy Jet; neither could contribute but at least Jet was worse at going "we really need to get through all these superchats" because he's a mongoloid waste of nitrogen.

Anyone who isn't an autistic retard can clearly understand that Nick is saying "it doesn't matter" in this clip. "It's just how Hollywood works" is sarcasm because it is NOT how Hollywood works at all. This will most likely end up being Harlan's most popular episode. The riff between Nick and Alex is addressing the futility and absurdity of trying to gain acceptance in Hollywood when you're doing something like MDE. It's.somthing they aren't trying to do. They are very comfortable in their own lane and don't need to change. The podcast stuff most likely happened on accident, and Sam took the opportunity, which I'm sure he probably regrets now. He's done more podcast appearances in the last 2 months then he's done in the last fifteen years. They're very unimportant to his success (or lack of) in the long run.

Ironically he's going down the same path as idubbz where his political grandstanding is getting in the way of actual comedy. The whole “when does this get serious?” Line was really telling. You’re a COMEDIAN, Sam. Make jokes and play along. Not everything needs e-daddy schizo rants.
Comparing Sam and iDubbbzTV is quite out there.
One has two series and a meme legacy under his belt. The other married an e-prostitute, took her last name, and had a vasectomy for her.
Even if you're only talking about this in terms of politics, this should still be kept in mind.

Considering all the embarrassing stuff Sam says, does and believes I would say Anisa's Husband is the perfect comparison.

I was replaying Halo3 again and what did I find? My favorite easter egg.

I see what he's saying, he wants to bring back pistols at dawn. I think that might be a good idea, Sam's arms are too big to ever draw fast enough.
Pistols at dawn had its own very large set of unwritten rules. There's a reason why Aaron Burr was socially ostracized after shooting Hamilton in a duel. The level of insult was nowhere near as far as he took it. Burr's conduct was justified under code duello, but Hamilton could not refuse the challenge despite wanting to and all but directly said he was going to delope. To shoot to kill under those circumstances made Burr look vicious, since dueling isn't about killing people in an extralegal manner despite it often having that outcome.

Can anyone link me to a torrent of the new season?
I already paid this dude 3 months of the pod on his website that still censors all the Jews, nigga, and rape words

I liked the sparky crispy skit they put up on YouTube for 10 hours ,should have downloaded it while I had the Chance

The rest are there to make sure Sam and Nick never go a moment with their penis unglazed. They have no thoughts in their head, nothing to offer the world except glazing, and nothing to contribute to the podcast. Harland seems to have recognized this before the podcast started and made sure they'd all be represented, constantly hassling the pinoy to chime in when there's not a chance he'd be able to contribute anything funny.
"Mein Candyman, Harland didn't care about his table. Operation Gorilla Nest did not take place."
"The following Wiggers stay here, Schultz, Carol, Hayden, und Rochefort."

... Nick... the ever true Nick... for him to have laughed along with Harland.
Charles, ja.
Eric, ja
Damiel, ja Ja JA!
But Nick... this is the greatest betrayal of all.
Do what you will, but I will never go along with the bit. I'd sooner flip some tables.

No, I stand by my comparison. Both started off as funny men who gained meme status, then Ian decided to switch from edgy humor to unfunny virtue signaling after marrying a BPD succubus. Sam might not be going down that exact same path, but his political grifting is making his comedy worse. Sam on that podcast was like trying to talk to your /pol/ sperg cousin about normal stuff at Thanksgiving dinner but then he crashes out at you because you don't wanna talk about the JQ and he heard the stuffing has seed oils in it.

Right wingers can be unfunny politispergs too.

I know his name is venom now, but Metokur's most true statement was when he described "Redpill Tourette's". As soon as some people learn about Jews or Niggers or whatever, they can't shut up about it for like a year. For Sam I guess it was more like 15 years.

Despite all his flaws, old Jimbo has given us many nuggets of wisdom over the years and that one is a prime example.

I rescind my opinion that it was all a bit but only because of Nick's stream. This seemed right up Harlands wheelhouse, but I'll eat my hat on this one. There's a reason Nick is the only one brought back on serious podcasts.

Despite being the #1 Harland simp apparently I must admit I actually don't consume his content. I wish we had some type of Harland-head in here who could tell us if the type of interview style was normal or not for Harland as a lot of people have speculated certain things were actually subtle digs:
  • Ripe and Tight
  • Look like youve been raped
  • Gorilla Nest (implication you are a gorilla)
Despite being a critic of Sam's reaction I can actually kind of empathize after seeing people in other discussions mention Sam should've just played along and made it funny. I'm not a comic so I can't imagine how I would reply to "have you been raped" in a funny way or what I'd do if the host of a show was telling me to do some physical-improv that involved dancing like a clown (monkey).

Was Harland intentionally fucking with Sam? Did he research sensitive topics before hand?

I checked a few random episodes of Harland Highway. One with Bobby Lee he pulls out a can of Chunky Creamy soup and tells Bobby to make a joke about it. They both attempt to riff on it but it really goes nowhere and then Harland tells a story about how after tennis with Norm MacDonald they'd play a game at the local convenience store and point to an object and the other person would have to make a joke.

Skimmed through the episode with Carrot Top quickly and Harland pulls out a bunch of numerous props in the style of Carrot Top and they riff about them and then Harland pulls out a wooden shoe that has a bunch of small notes inside each with a topic written on the notes.

I watched the Nick Mullen episode and Harland doesn't really "challenge" Nick with an improv scenario or prop like he did to Sam.

tl;dr - I think Sam handled it in possibly the worst way, but I have a bit of sympathy for Sam knowing that I have zero improv skills and if I had to approach the same scenario I have zero idea how I would've made the gorilla nest a funny bit. In a sense I almost understand the tard-rage decision.

Sam made an ass out of himself on this interview and damaged Nick's and Chuck's reputation with it.
I legit feel sorry for Nick on this one.
Yeah, it's really embarrassing, I think they'll be fine though. Nick and Charls are the funniest of the group, that's not even debatable.
Hope anyone that reads this has a blessed day, Godspeed.

Me reading this thread:

I have a theory that Sam is averse to traditional media success, probably on a subconscious level.

Perhaps it's because he's always seen himself as an outsider, maybe its because MDE on Adult Swim got "unjustly" cancelled, but I think he has come to associate traditional media success with being a cuckold sellout faggot.
I think he just doesn't understand that traditional media success means needing to get along with others so that they'd want to work with you or that a rising tide lifts all boats. Like if you don't make it pleasant, reasonable, and profitable to work with you, then you don't get people wanting to work with you who are also good at those things.

So he ends up imagining that so long as you have the popularity, the success will follow. Resulting in a more amateurish production setup that would scare off anyone wanting a job that provides stability (or health insurance).
