They didn't lie about any of that, the attic was due to a miscommunication with euro devs and was fixed immediately, and Cole very clearly stated for like 2 hours that he was leaving on his own volition. Sam even clarified on Twitter that this happened. You're coping.

Check in for the first time today and jimmy sits in the kitchen for like 3 minutes doing nothing and right as nifty looks away to put dishes away jimmy pinches her on the neck or something and says she's lying about being allergic to cleaning supplies because him and Delaney have been putting them on her clothes for the past few days and that she's a pedophile, Nifty tries to tell him he can't put his hands on her and he just says no multiple times he can, she then goes downstairs.
