Sams tone and being the one to actually address it makes it feel like he is taking a bit more control at least.

Turns out "not giving up" refers to continuing Fishtank as a show, not this current season.

My current ranking of the Fishtank seasons

1. Season 1
2. 2.5 Bloodgames
3. Season 3
4. Season 4
5. Season 2

It might be a little too fresh for people to accept me putting s4 so low on the list but I know it's the truth. That doesn't mean that s4 didn't have a lot of promise or wasn't good while it lasted because it was. It had my #1 choice for Freeloader since s1 as a guest with Bam Margera, unfortunately he wasn't an actual freeloader though. But the fact he was there makes this season pretty great automatically. We also had a really wild cast and we got to see Jet get put in some funny situations that he really deserved since he was so adamant about having fans for the cast. At the end of the day, this was still better than s2, because s4 didn't have to sink to the lows that s2 sunk to, the two weeks that s4 lasted were good enough without much sinking in quality so it was a better time overall. Even though s4 didn't go as low as s2 did, it never quite reached the highs that s3 had either. The ending seems to be the worst ending yet seeing it live, but I have feeling that the ending might be really good in the edit when we get that in ten years.

Gonna take a wild guess and say they got an idea for a hot fix to finish off the season, but townships for Season 3 immediately shut them down because of vengeful boomers and/or marky weens.

this season could have definitely been #1 or #2 if it went to the end. especially with the twist, which likely would have been them going to each of the houses with the fallout theme. i feel like i cant even fairly compare it to the others given we only got two weeks. season 5 better not be scuffed in the fucking slightest.
