Yeah. Generally if people have issues with cost of living or anything the answer is “move somewhere else”. We have a pioneer cultua mang.Is this an american sentiment? Because to me, as a nationalist, nothing is more natural than wanting to stay where you are from. My family has lived on, cultivated and died for this patch of land for centuries, why would I ever want to live somewhere else.
That being said, New England is a good location for the type of content Hyde & co make. There are easily accessible major metropolitan areas contrasted with rural locations, scenery and history unique to the area. It’s kind of (God forgive me) European in the infrastructure, accessibility, and diversity of culture in a small geographical area.
We’re also really fucking weird with Catholic, Protestant and European immigrant influences. despite being a blue area, there’s a cultural conservative underpinning (historically we’ve had a lot of powerful WASPs) that you won’t see on the other, lesser coast.
