Sept 28 2024 - Chris and Flutter in Helsinki, Finland

In one video it actually says it's the happiest country in the world
Dude, that "happiness report" is absolute horseshit. It is based on some arbitrary statistics, like levels of GDP, life expectancy, generosity, social support, freedom, and corruption.

At the same time, suicide rate is worse than in fucking Congo, and climate and sunlight are fucked for the better part of the year. Draw your own conclusions from that.

Chris would probably fit in quite well in Finland, though. He would probably be regarded as just another "village idiot" or mental case roaming the streets by most Finns. Those kind of people are usually left alone and not messed with, even if they themselves were causing trouble to others.

This is Chris Chan we're talking about, not some rando retard. He's known world wide and is universally loathed. And lets not forget, Chris's behavior just attracts bad attention, and when he gets it, he doubles and triples down and makes it worse. If he's around say, a mall, he's going to be hanging out there quite a bit, not to mention if there's Euro conventions for things he likes.

Chris in Europe isn't going to be left alone or otherwise "live quietly". The first public sperg out he has with someone and there's footage of it, it's going to amplify.

Here's another thought: It's illegal to carry pepperspray in Finland without a license. To get a license you need to be in an industry where it's needed. Chris being a motherfucking retard is not a valid reason. Finland also have "proportional self defense" laws, which means say someone's making fun of Chris, and he decides to whip out some pepperspray and spray the guy. The person he hit it with is perfectly within their rights to take it away from him and burn his eyes out with the rest of the can, then he gets arrested. No more carrying his little beater bat either.

Even carrying a pocketknife is illegal in Finland unless you have a justified reason, like a job where a knife is required. Chris carrying one because he's scared of trolls doesn't cut it. That... actually brings up something else, Chris goes to the cops and starts whining about trolls after him, with his spotty grasp of the English and Finnish languages might get him thrown in the nuthouse again.

What the fuck? No. That's how you'll catch a charge for assaulting your assaulter. We're expected to just run the fuck away and let the cops deal with it.

I fucking love Hasbro. 🐝4ever.

Even today I still get excited over a yellow Camaro with black stripes.

If Chris is trying to hide his whereabouts, he's pretty pathetic.

But 3:30am is like 11:30am to me anyways.
Do you even get excited over EarthShart cuck tranny Bumblebee?

Makes me wonder if the blue arms was intended to be permanent but they backpedaled after the fanbase sperged out like with New Coke?
I think has Sonic Boom not been a critical and financial failure, they would've stuck around, but I doubt retards having had anything to do with the decision.

The UK has very similar laws and have had cases that were very publicized regarding it. For example, the guy that shot two burglars, who weren't armed, got hammered by the UK courts because of a disproportional use of force, just like what you posted. If someone punches you, you can certainly punch them back to defend yourself, however if you then pull out a knife, you're in the wrong.

And taking this to Chris, the times he's been violent, he's had to rely on utilizing weapons, or things like his car. In Finland, Chris is basically neutered because he can't rely on his tried and true weapons like pepperspray, pocketknives, little beater bat, or his vehicle.

Explain what would happen to Chris if the Blarms incident happened in Finland. The courts there wouldn't go "Oh, Chris was scared of the loud booming manajerk, so that was cool that he spray him". Actually, what would happen if Chris say, pulled out his little beater bat to "scare trolls" over there who were making fun of him?

Finland law sounds hell of cucked. Is that just the laws with the locals just not reporting and feeding you to the snow pigs? Or is that just a tall tale from the internets?

Chris would have been charged for some level of assault, and for carrying pepper spray in the first place. I can't speculate what the outcome in the court would have been, as I don't know how lenient they are towards mentally disabled people. He would probably have been fined.

I'm not sure what you're referring to by beater bat, but if it's a blunt object that he carries for self defence, that's also against the law.

Super cucked as far as the law goes.

Interesting, thank you. Seems even more cucked than Hungary's laws, where you are mostly just prevented from injuring people when they flee/submit, unless he got a weapon, its night or there are multiple people, but I am not a lawyer and just googled it.

I know that pepper spray and knives are semi legal, but are limited in size you can carry them. You can't booby trap your house or chase people after they leave the property, but you can have Mr Pibbles the baby exterminator on standby and hungry.

Finland just got an online reputation that if you mess around you'll be knifed and left in the icy wasteland. But this could be just purely a meme.

Not that I expect Chris to try and fisticuff the White Death over Ebin Blue Sanik arms : D : D

This is Chris, not God.

Chris is not a household name.

If Blarms would happen around here (he maces some hapless employee and tries to flee the scene inside shopping mall) good chances would be that he'd get wrestled into ground, and cuffed. Police could potentially keep him for few hours for questioning. What criminal charges there would be? Well, since pepper spray isn't equated to firearm or bladed weapon usually it'd probably be an assault. Assault would carry either fine, or up to two years imprisonment - in addition of breaking law simply by carrying the pepper spray in public, which is again, fines or two years in the clink. Given that he has no history here with legal system, he'd probably get off with day fines (typical assault charge has around 48 days worth of day fines and some tens at most for possessing and using the spray). And day fines are counted based on your net income per month - 255 / 60 (to the minimum of 6 euros per day). That's how all those NHL players and other rich fuckers get those ridiculous speeding tickets here (and imho it's good system, since even their wallet can actually feel it).

Depends, around his home probably "quit it" if he didn't actually attack anyone. If he actually got there and hit someone, then you'd get again potential assault charges. Not a lawyer so don't know if there's something in this case that would count as mitigating. Most likely, CWC would get the bat taken from him and then kids would throw it across around him while jeering.

What I find interesting is that will Chris try to get license in Finland? Because, if he becomes permanent resident, he could transfer his driver's license. Now, if he'll stay around the capital area, it's not like he'll have actual need for one, but I guess old habits (and laziness) die hard. I don't know who taught Chris to drive, but there are some rules on the road that he probably has no idea even exist, or what the different looking road signs could mean. Not to mention I'm not sure he'd be that safe driver on ice or pitch black. I'm just glad I don't live near his assumed location.

Also, FWIW, people here seem to overestimate Chris's notoriety in Finland. He's really not known outside of certain circles on the internet, and said parts are also something typical finn probably won't ever see.

He would become well known here eventually, media here is trashy as fuck and desperate for clicks and who would bring more clicks than spastic faggot like Chris? There would be regular dragonlord tier pilgrimage's to his house. Hell i might even go on location myself if he moves close enough. :D

Dumb question probs but did this thread and the main Flutter thread get merged?

I somehow don't see Iltalehti writing "Maladjusted autist shits himself and does nothing" or A-Studio inviting him to talk about barbussy or dimensional merge. There always has been, personalities for lack of the better word known around their hometowns for sure, but that's about the level of CWC's fame. The Internet's village idiot. We have our own weirdoes, like romutransu aka Markus Kuotesaho, and nothing of the sort has happened.

No.
Actually. One thing I just learned, thanks, CWCki.

Chris is now active once again on Duolingo and changed his avatar.

I think he finally realised that he should actually, y'know, practice Finnish after around half a year since he's, you know, fucking there.

This screenshot comes from September 29th, when Geno Samuel released the Finland video. I do not exactly have proof of that because I didn't keep tabs on it since March, but he doesn't appear to have practiced at all between March and late September at all, which I find funny. I do distinctly remember him having that number of points, and I do remember writing "71K points" in the Flutter thread back then as well. Haven't changed that fragment, so it still says that amount.

Those three were taken by myself just now. You can see he has gotten a bit over 2000 points over the past three weeks.

Since the number of points also changed by 2162 between the two pics, we can see that Chris began his lessons again last Sunday.

Update: I also wanted to check up on Helmi today, but I noticed a weird thing that already disqualifies her.

She learns finnish.
Therefore, she is not a native/didn't learn it from the family, therefore she's not Flutter.
Since English has a lot of focus in Finland, she would be studying languages from Finnish and english wouldn't even, like, be on here.

I see it clear as day, maybe not TV stuff but iltalehti or sanomat would write on him. Wouldn't even be a downgrade on their usual murder porn, demented sex stuff and so on. Remember when they wrote about some retarded kids thinking they are animals (therians?) for days on end? Bar is at the all time low for our yellow pages, not that it has ever been that high.

Chris is not going to land up in jail in Finland, lol. At most, he'll just get fined and because of his autism he will be treated with silk gloves and handled most likely by social workers instead of the justice system.

There are plenty of loonies roaming the streets of Finland, and Chris is no different as long as he is not deemed dangerous to others, and it would be really hard to put him into mental ward without his consent. Pretty sure he would not be harrased here as extensively as in the US, because there are laws against that and he is English speaking anyway, which limits his exposure to Finnish trolls.
