Oh undertale fandom never changeshipped an aged-up version of their underaged character with Sans
It's a childish mindset tbh, and I mean that in the literal "thing a child would say" way. I think we're all there at some point or another in our lives, but the problem is when these folks don't grow out of it and you end up with 30 year olds still acting like they're 12.They think that by being in the online spaces they're in, they're fighting some grand battle against an evil enemy. Or that they're the awesome-looking evil enemy with claws and fangs, and that everyone should be afraid of their power.
This is another extension of it, too. I'd dare say it's autistic, which I know gets tangled up in the childishness and is hard to separate, but when you come down to it this is just what autistic people and children do; they get super invested in cartoons and media and treat it as if it's as important as anything in real life, even when it isn't. There's another trend that stems from this, where people who are otherwise powerless feel like the only thing they can "do" as praxis is to consume only morally pure media, to only make morally pure media, thus it feeds the obsession and conflation of media and irl issues. It's an ouroboros that makes Sonic fetish art. They take media as seriously as, if not moreso than, real life.
They think that by being in the online spaces they're in, they're fighting some grand battle against an evil enemy. Or that they're the awesome-looking evil enemy with claws and fangs, and that everyone should be afraid of their power. Its the reason why people with actual lives more often depict themselves as something ugly looking or silly, because they don't attach their ego to it.
I was really surprised to put the video on and hear a male sounding voice. This screams pooner. But what really surprises me is that this person has published a comic book and it has 5 star ratings.
Is this not basically the exact same premise as One-Punch Man? Well, not identical per se but extremely fundamentally similar. "Overpowered superhero beats everyone instantly, tries to find an actual challenge."In a world where everyone has a special power called a soultype, a man named Bryson Volkov stands above the rest. He has the "Funbringer" soultype, a soultype that gives its user ungodly strength. The issue? He defeats everyone too easily! He can't ever find a good fight! Jasper Academia Online follows the story of Bryson as he deals with his past while trying to find someone who could give him a challenge.
It blows my mind how the stupid and childish politics I grew out of at like age 15 still infests the minds of grown adults and directs their entire worldview to this day. These are people with jobs and responsibilities who are somehow unable to mature in this one specific and obvious way. It's a childish mindset tbh, and I mean that in the literal "thing a child would say" way. I think we're all there at some point or another in our lives, but the problem is when these folks don't grow out of it and you end up with 30 year olds still acting like they're 12.
Okay? And cockroaches can survive a nuclear fallout. Your point? This was captioned:
See? It's unbreakable.
I thought this was Saul Goodman at first holy shit
Sogeking...Burn that Flag
Speaking of One Piece, I've seen some ACAB (All Cops Are Bastards) bullshit on my Twitter feed (which I forgot to save and screenshot at the moment) about "oh no Eichiiro Oda made Roronoa Zoro a police officer if he were to have a real job in our world!"Sogeking...Burn that Flag
I seen the alternatives they have offered if they dismantle the police.ACAB people disturb me. If you want all people in a profession that is supposed to promote order primarily gone, then I fear you more than the cops because only God knows what you would really want to end up doing without them around.
3: Replace the police with social workers who’ll talk down a rapist, serial killer, or nigger high on PCP, because that’ll go swimmingly.I seen the alternatives they have offered if they dismantle the police.
They are either:
1: Make what's essentially just Police but worded a little differently.
2: They have this idea that making doing bad things illegal will magically make them stop happening.
Oh right. I seen people legit believe that they should send therapists instead of the police during a school shooting.3: Replace the police with social workers who’ll talk down a rapist, serial killer, or nigger high on PCP, because that’ll go swimmingly.
Easy. They are so obsessed with kids because children are easy to indoctrinate. Those people are so convinced they are correct in their beliefs, so of course they'd go for the kids, especially vulnerable ones in puberty or going through rough spots in life. Those sick individuals project their unresolved insecurities and traumas on children, so they start targeting children. Also, as I said, they believe their beliefs are the right ones, so", because the next generation is da future," they decide to teach them young. And of course, let's not forget pedophilia and lack of relations with other adults in general.Starting to think we should change the poll to something along the lines of "Why are they so obsessed with kids?"
