That's why I was debating showing it here, but the fact that it was specifically requested that they draw the character with vitiligo irked me enough to post it.

I don't understand why they do this either. It's so creepy to me. Sports bras are not binders by any means necessary and it feels so fetishy that these artists treat it like it is. If you really wanted to show a positive reply of trans people why would you show them NOT as their desired gender? I think these people forget that dysphoria is a total bitch and that no trans person wants to be reminded of being their biological gender.

And funny enough I've seen callout posts on the website about this as well. Is it that hard to draw a trans girl as a girl? Or a trans guy as a guy? Do they really need the pride shirt and rainbow to declare how gay they are? It's pretty dehumanizing to this if you ask me. It's just another form of categorization. The same labels but somehow more progressive this time (when it really isn't).
