Schaken-Mods is - or rather, was, a half decent website that had mods that were paywalled for everyone to have access to.
Sadly they started up their own paywall shit and then it got filled with pedophiles making pedo mods. :/

I wanted to test that Collections stuff out because it has a sorta one click installer for all the Legacy of the Dragonborn content, and then you get to his content and it's just not available (there are people who put up links on Reddit to the 3 mods if you really want them). I don't understand how any mod author be against their mods being in a bundle, to make it more accessible to people that wanna have the entire LOTD experience (outside of the non-official patches for things like The Lost Wonders of Mzark for instance, or the latest addition of Hall of The Forgotten)

Does any know how to apply custom skins using Bodyslide/outfit studio? I know there's a way because I applied Diamond skin a few months ago but like a retard I thought it'd be a good idea to update BS/OS and now I can't find the tutorial I used and searching only brought up forum posts from 8 years ago.

Nevermind, I just reinstalled BS/OS and it worked.

Possibly the final update for the retarded Skyrim Romance Mod and its community.

The gigantic SRM Discord has been shut down with a lengthy, sanctimonious final letter to the fans.

This could be a direct result of this thread since they discovered it some time ago. All of the doxing probably freaked them out and the Discord itself was a great resource for it.

Never forget: if this Discord never existed, none of this litigious, rape accusation bullshit would've happened. Starting up the Discord, with as little moderation as they had, was the dumbest thing they could've done. It was essentially a petri dish of mentally-ill women who're clinically bored with their sexless, overweight lives — that includes the Admins.

Tyro, here, unironically calls herself a writer and once cited growing up on soap operas as being her primary inspiration for writing dialogue. Good morning/afternoon/evening everyone,

TyroScribe here! I hope you’re doing well today and been enjoying whatever season you’re currently experiencing in your part of the world. I know where I am, it still feels like we’re living on the surface of the sun. It is so hot *sighs*. Nevertheless, as I’ve been sitting in my kitchen looking outside and drinking a glass of cold sweet tea, I’ve found myself reflective. Every day, the sun rises to greet the animals and people of the earth. And every night, the sun drops down beneath the clouds. That cycle continues endlessly day after day, night after night. In a strange way, there is comfort in such predictability. We know that cycle will always occur, just like we know the seasons will always change. And so, I have begun to think about the cycles of my own life.

Seven years ago, I joined this wonderful community we have. At the time, I was very much engulfed in the darkness of the night. I was going through a very painful time. I do not wish to go into the details of what happened or my despair, but I assure you that the pain was tremendous. I will say, though, that as the sun always rises, I found the light that would help me start knitting myself back together. I discovered it while searching for fun romance mods I could play for Skyrim. I had started playing the TES series with Oblivion and had recently gotten a computer powerful enough to handle Skyrim. So, I started playing it more and got interested in the addition of the marriage system. Having an in-game romance with the game’s characters helped me not feel so alone. It made me feel like I had someone who cared about me, someone to share my life with. Then, having a background of modding from Oblivion, I started wondering if anyone had made romanceable characters who were different from the vanilla Skyrim characters. Finding the Skyrim Romance Mod was, hence, a fantastic blessing to my life. Like the sun, it was this giant orb of warmth and light that wrapped itself around me like a big oversized blanket. The day had begun for me, and so, I began the healing process. Bishop was an interesting character, but the man who I fell in love with was Casavir. He was my knight in shining armor – literally. It was he who I wanted to romance, but when I found out I couldn’t, I decided to create my own mod with him at the center (or at least my version of him). I then joined this amazing community and found other people who loved Casavir too. I was so happy to meet them and also happy to meet the Bishop fans.

I call that period of my life here the morning. The sun was at its highest and its hottest. And as the sun roared into and through the afternoon, I began making that mod I mentioned for Casavir. SRMC inspired me so much, including the depths of Bishop’s story. Even though Casavir was the man of the hour to me, I made it my mission to create a story as rich as Bishop’s for him so the community could have a mod to enjoy him in. Without SRM, I never would have been motivated to do it, nor would I have had any idea on how to get started. I never would have had a model to draw from. As I have painstakingly worked on my mod, I have found


myself eternally grateful for the community’s love and support. It is no small task creating any mod from scratch, but the help people have given me, their encouragement, and their excitement are things I treasure beyond measure. You all are the ones who have kept me going. That support is why I have tried to be the best leader I could be to you through my various roles I’ve held here. The role SRM has played in my life by motivating me to create Casavir Romance and your support are things I will always be happy about and thank you all dearly for.

Now that I am in the sunset stage of my life here, I realize things have changed remarkably for me. I realize I am about to start at a new university in a program that has been my life’s dream to be in. I also realize that my mod is nearly ready for release and I realize that I have healed from the horrible things that happened to me years ago because of the people’s support here. Above all, I have realized the strength that I have always had deep inside me. It is the same strength I see in each and every beautiful member of this fantastic community of ours. You all are truly inspiring, wonderful, and talented people. I know the world has nothing but the best things in store for all of you!

It is with all of that said that I come to you to make an announcement. This community is now also in its sunset stage. As the leader of SRMC and the owner of our Discord server, I have made the very difficult and painful decision to close the community. I know this will come as a huge shock to you all, but I truly feel it is time. This community has done so many great things for people of different ages and backgrounds around the world. It has had an incredible run. It has helped so many people heal from their problems and not feel alone by meeting others and creating friendships that will last a lifetime. But as the expression goes, all good things must come to an end. The truth is I am getting much busier in my life and I feel it would be a terrible disservice to you all if I stayed if I couldn’t give it my 100%. I also feel that it would be wrong to ask someone else to be the leader/owner of this place because as terrific as this community is, running any community is a gigantic task. It is a lot of responsibility! I appreciate that everyone has a personal life and I do not want anyone else being unable to live out their dreams to the fullest or to do the things in their lives they want or need to do. Closing the community feels like a good ending chapter to a wonderful book, which gives me much internal peace.

Because of that, effective immediately, the only venue this community will have is the website. Our forums on the site are now closed. That decision has been made because we simply do not have the staff anymore to moderate the forums. Also, for years, the forums have attracted bots that create fake accounts. They have become littered with spam messages as a result. Despite trying to install multiple plugins to address the problem, it is just too widespread. So the easiest thing to do is close the forums so no more bots can come in and continue this behavior. If, however, anyone has any fan content they want to get from the forums, I can reopen them temporarily so they can be retrieved quickly.

To continue updating you on the changes, any SRM news will be announced via site blog posts. As has already been announced, all ROTR news will be delivered via site blog posts only as well. Finally, all CR content will be moved to its own site I will be releasing soon. Furthermore, all social media has been closed effective immediately (again due to low staffing issues). We will keep the social media outlets available for viewing only, for example our Youtube, Facebook, etc. And in regards to the Discord server, it too will be closed on Sunday August 14th, 2022. Starting now, I have opened a channel for us all to share our memories we have developed here, to talk about the fantastic times we have had together, and any SRM or SRMC stories we all might wish to share. The fan content channels remain open as well until the server closes. And closer to the time this server is closed, I will open a channel for you to advertise any social servers you might want to create or know about that you think your fellow SRMC members here might like to join.

Because I know this might be something people are curious about, I would like to take this opportunity to let people know about SRMC’s official stance on any future discussions or fan content that might be created based on SRM or ROTR. We do not allow anyone to call any venue, including Discord servers, an official SRMC, SRM, or ROTR community. The reason is it would confuse your members greatly since we are the only official community there is or ever will be. All of the mods will live on solely on the SRMC website, which will be the only official venue the mods have going forward. Any venues created in the future have to be completely

unofficial and that must be made explicitly clear to their members. Furthermore, if any venues wish to share SRM or ROTR fan content or discussions, that is okay as long as there is the following understanding: any venues that associate themselves in any way with SRM or ROTR do not represent our views, are not managed by us in any shape or fashion, and do not enjoy any benefits associated with our community. Because of that, SRMC and its leadership take absolutely no responsibility for anything that happens in those other venues. That includes: servers of any kind, social media, websites, rules, views expressed, fan content, announcements, practices, events of any kind, or decisions. All of those venues operate completely independently of us and must take full responsibility for themselves and their own actions and content. We are free of all liability arising from any issues created in and by any venue.

We also do not allow anyone to expand on SRM in terms of DLCs or any other additional mod content. Edited and published versions of the mod are also not permitted. Both of those policies hold true for ROTR when it is released as well. Also, any language translations of either mod must be approved by us before publication.

Additionally, no one is allowed to make an official or unofficial venue for CR since CR is only hosted on the SRMC website and is actually independent like the other mods it features (i.e.

Anna’s NPCs, Caliente’s Bodies, The Blue Dragon, and Interesting NPCs). More significantly, CR already has its official server (Skyrim Knights) and will have its own website soon. Both of those venues make up the entirety of the only community it will ever have and that’s how it will remain. As such, any fan content or discussions about CR are to remain confined to the upcoming Skyrim Knights website and the Skyrim Knights Discord server.

Please be aware of the aforementioned statements as you peruse venues to join in the future.

In closing, I want to thank you all deeply and personally from the bottom of my heart for the great things you have brought to my life. I will be eternally grateful. I also want you to know it has been my distinct honor and privilege to be your leader. Although I am retiring, I have learned so many valuable lessons by being in this Discord server that I will carry with me throughout my life. More significantly, though, I have learned that there is always a new day. As I said at the beginning of this, there is comfort in knowing that the darkness is temporary. All depression and all anger are never eternal. It is my fervent wish that you focus on the great things this community has brought to your life and to the lives of your fellow SRMC members. Please, do not mourn that this community is ending! Rather, rejoice that it has existed at all for as long as it has. We all have been so fortunate to have this place for as long as we have and that deserves a celebration! This community is a decade old. SRMC is such a beautiful, prosperous, and positive place. You should be proud of this place’s success and the role you have played in that. The long tenure this community has had is absolutely amazing, a real achievement, and something that deserves to have a great ending!

I ask that we please focus on doing honor to our legacy. Let us enter the next phase of our history with the same kindness and goodness we have always displayed. Let us also do the same for the other people in our lives outside of this community. In doing so, we can ensure that the welcoming, kind, accepting spirit of this community lives on. In short, let us always spread the love this community was founded on – for each other and everyone else around the world.

Surprisingly I saw some reddit people giving them shit, and pointing out how they've already missed their release window by a large margin, announced a demo quest that had nothing to do with Skyrim that they shit canned to "get the main mod done", only to open up a patreon and now do this instead.

Honestly, at this point I don't know why people are even excited for this. Do Skyrim Modding people just really love shitty VO and OC love interests or something?

Is that supposed to be Shivering Isles? Because I don't remember that zone in Oblivion looking that colorful. It was supposed to look dreary and kind of surreal.

If I recall correctly, most of these big modding projects are 90% "writers" and 10% of people actually getting anything done. Management is fucking shit and bound to have trannies in some capacity. Honestly I have stopped paying any attention to these big projects due to how almost all of them running into the same issue over and over again.
Regarding Extended Cuts for CC contents like Saints and Seducers, I can see why they choose this: It is significantly less work required and even much less complicated to get it done than "rewriting" and editing main quests of Skyrim. Since Saints and Seducers CC are just adding a barebone quests adding a few things on top of the base game, it's easier to edit than Skyrim's main quest that's connected to Civil War quests and all of the guild quests as well.

Also paid mods are fucking gay and it always will be.

Skyblivion have shown *way* more footage of their shit, which might mean nothing but it certainly makes me think they're doing a lot more than the BS team.
