I'm talking about the western ones that went after that boy band(One Direction?) and the kids in Stranger Things. Oh, and Supernatural, Sherlock and who knows what else. I remember Sherlock even had a scene where both of them turn to the camera and say "we're not gay!".
The message they're pushing is "you can't shame female sexuality and this is really about gay rights so just make Chris Hemsworth and Loki 69 in the next Marvel movie. For the gays rights."

Man, I wish I could have a movement with the clout and media backing like that for my stupid and self-serving ideas that pose as ideals. I'm all about the plurality of bodies by the way. They said Christina Hendricks could never make it in Hollywood because she was too busty and that's just unfair, people come in different sizes. I think getting her baps out on camera could really help other women that feel insecure about their top tier racks.

Surprisingly enough, I assumed the male counterpart of the term (腐男子 - fu-dan-shi) would be the reverse, but it turns out that those men are "rotten" for liking male homosexuality as well. Basically, it's a-okay for anyone In Japan to enjoy lesbianism (aka Yuri - 百合, also a flower's name), less so in gay men (more commonly referred as BL aka Boys Love).

In general, it's rare to see lesbianism in japanese games outside of its own yuri section and in the cases it does (like Fire Emblem 3H & Engage or Fate/Extra), it's mainly from the player's own choices rather than forcibly imposed by the developer.

Hentai, as an abbreviated word of "weird lust" (変態性欲) in japanese, just simply means sexual pervert in general whereas fujoshi is a specific nippon slang for nerd ladies into BL shit. As far as I know, there is no slang there for someone deep into love between women.

Edit: I've even looked up to someone asking this same question in Yahoo!Japan, and apparently 百合好き(yuri-suki) is the term for lesbianism enjoyers (regardless they're men or women)

I get the idea was to legitimize UMD Video as a format, and they considered releasing players for it besides the PSP, but in practice it was just weird.

They still don't really fit in it, running onscreen from the distant right while all of the other characters are foreground looking from the left. It looks better with them cut and has nothing to do with Sony/Playstation's "respect" for Vita games.
