Why shouldn't we be bitter? /soy/'s 'log is filled with coal. Most potentially gemmy 'jak threads die after one or two replies while fetish and raid threads get bumped. Nobody cares about making and editing soyjaks and OCs anymore; all people care about is raiding, which attracts Foodists and feds, and cooming, which they should do on the 'cuck. The current administration doesn't care about this -- they encourage it and laugh at it from a secret Discord server while collecting your data. This has made people go to splinters so they can try to focus on OCs and have competent, trustworthy admins, but sadly there are very few sites like that (except the 'rally and the Swinny).

Raiding is not the point of the Sharty. The point of the Sharty is mocking soyboys with funny bald man cartoons, not messing with randos for your own amusement. Raiding has so taken over the Sharty to the point where 'jaks and OCs are secondary. The only new OCs that get made are either forgettable dust made by 14-year-old furries or slopjak countrywar stuff from the booru. This is unacceptable; it defeats the purpose of the site and attracts undesirables to it.

I'm a bit sad they got 1chan shut down, but I'm okay with raids between boards on our own sites -- it's lighthearted civil war fun. I'm also okay with 4cuck raids because Sharty culture is indigenous to the 'cuck, every 'cucker is at least somewhat familiar with Sharty culture (so they're in on the joke, even if they're the butt of it), and nobody gets hurt when boards filled with bait, spam, and thinly-veiled porn are broken up by onions boys.

I think a lot of people here are just upset that the sharty isn't what they personally idealize it to be in their head. This site has been around for a while now, and mocking da soiboys gets old, the kulchur (d)evolves and changes, the website adapts, the users come and go, all of this for better or for worse and you can't really stop it (I don't like the current sharty either)
