I wouldn't doubt this could be connected to Monkey Torture community. It is an organization that has a certain western influence, and while this mostly seemed to be contained within Indonesia, I wouldn't be impressed if certain Telegram channels in the west spread the information to some sick fucks around.
That and I suspect it's because it's a developing country with almost entirely rural communities over a wide disparate area. Not to defend it or imply an equivalency, but in the same way underage sex is discreetly overlooked in rural white America, I suspect it's the same with beastiality in certain parts of Indonesia.
Because nobody decides to randomly upload a coded ARG supported by networked accounts linking to password-protected videos of dog fucking and child abuse on their shitty surfer gameplay. Whenever these little groups pop up on YouTube, it's usually supported offsite by people who know what to look for, I'm guessing so they can link it to others they know who aren't in the private group, and they use every trick in the book to get past the auto-moderation, even assuming it can detect such tiny channels - and this is, for what it apparently uploads, a massive channel for that sort of thing. Even then, the comments section ("SMASH that 'like' button for more dog-fucking, guys!') makes it pretty clear that they came to that video because they knew what to expect.
Right, but logically, the people that should gravitate to those kinds of videos are children. I imagine the kids gameplay is a) misdirection for automated moderation b) to game the algorithm using ditto and c) so people who are in the loop know they've gotten the right video.
I know a lot of posters on here don’t like him because of how he handled Keffals/DropKiwiFarms but I would say Mutahar/SomeOrdinaryGamers would probably be a likely candidate for covering this story. He’s got 1M+ subs on YouTube and he’s covered unsavory/degenerate stories like this before, especially when it comes to CSAM on the clearnet and Animal abuse on YT.
Unfortunately, by blowing up a story or ring of freaks like this to the general public, it almost guarantees that these freaks get away with their "business" as most of the bigger internet/media companies do not keep extensive records on accounts that get deleted by the user later. By not reporting information to the authorities due to the (absolutely reasonable) fear that they will not take action, it will guarantee that they do not take action beyond a surface level investigation.
Once you have a country of 250 million, you will have a big audience for such content even if it is only a tiny minority interested in it
