Yes, I remember one case where the Ukranian that was paid to code disappeared, probably died in the war but more likely case is that he got paid and ran. There are however GitHub repositories for sprites and YAML files which are public, and anyone can edit and PR them to the main closed repository as a pseudo "balance change" Also, Dotto wasn't the host for the server, just the owner of the code, if I recall correctly the host is some ligger who has a hate boner for Groomden and Frontier and has said that he would host servers that compete with those two for free. He also rage quit the discord once because someone made fun of lizards, this caused dotto to block the word "ligger"

I may have asked before but I remember hearing from shiptest and a few other places dotto had a previous history with weird edgy MUDs. I wonder if that's worth digging up at all.

I wish there was a bit more context. Vienna and some of the others have been there quite a while and also had quite high ranked Discord roles, no? What's the motivation here? Hoping for rehub lol?

Hullrot is enjoyable when Turkish immigrant Canadian faggots aren't using admin abilities to rape you.
Tragically it has been underpop because all of the 60 IQ rock slinging eastern European "aryan" retards have been banned.

I take issue with some of the recent updates like the armor changes that basically make you fuckmeat if you don't pay 40k for a custom tradeship weapon and dare to use your faction stock weapons.
Dotto keeps trying to add new factions with 40 player slots out of 120 instead of learning a hard lesson that successful games have 3 or less factions (eve is 5000 players and 15k alts and amarr is dead before anyone tries to get ACTSHUALLY on this one)

i dont think hullfrot tehdrama matters though since entire server is kind of in zombie mode and its "dev" has been already yapping away the whole "i want to squeeze the last of patreon money before closing down" game
