I'd like to help the thread get further off the ground, but I don't know much about the likely autistic drama that the site does have. I'm sure everyone with a brain would know that QQ has some disgusting degenerate shit going on like all the other sites that allow for NSFW messes.
I guess I can point to one of the times where one of them got a little too degenerate on spacebattles itself though, from this guy's thread: https://forums.spacebattles.com/threads/breaking-fate-a-type-moon-quest.600170/.
A part of the creative writing side of spacebattles are quests, which were originally called their own injoke term called BROB before the better term was imported from /tg/. These are essentially fanfics turned into an video-game by the author or QM. This is a match made in heaven for SB, where the writting side and the powerscaleing numbers autism collides together. Along with of course the touch of selfish "I can do better than any of the characters in that book series!" that drives them to try and maximize power. An interesting holdover from that autistic series of fanfics of harry potter called rational.
Back to the point, this quest has it all. A main character who's got some overpowered ability that lends well to the big stat numbers autism. Big deal, I've read a few of these quests and this is a dime a dozen. But notice the thread itself is locked. Why, one may ask?
Simple. It stars a 10 year old minor that the QM decided to put in a relationship with a girl in her late teens, while implying he reads dirty magnazines. From what I recall (since I don't want to go into the thread and read this crap) the latter happened later but the former was something that got established about midway. Now of course this was eventually caught and reported on to the mod team but this shit still went on for almost 400 pages.
They made an exception for the coof and cracked down hard on people who were anti-clot shot while allowing pro-clot shot people to say basically whatever they wanted.QQ's no politics rule automatically makes it the best because the mods there enforce it harshly and against all sides.
Long march is probably in the top 10% of web original alt history worksThe Long March is so horrible that it manages to evoke the same emotions in me that listening to Kanye West's new song does.
It was both. The site had become unstable due to, IIRC, a lot of deferred maintenance on the hardware that it was running on. LordSquishy and Foamy had set up SV a little before that happened, and when the twin hurricanes of site issues and the Athene debacle (I never liked Thanatos. I always found him to be a smarmy dick, and I didn't like Athene any better - but the way site staff handled that situation was laughably bad) it was basically the perfect storm to drive a bunch of users over to SV. SB ended up sorting out their servers, and while they might have lost some of their userbase permanently, most of those people who left for good were on the more insufferable end of the posting spectrum.I believe this section:
Sufficient Velocity (SV) (April 21, 2014)Founded April 21, 2014, originally as a lifeboat for SpaceBattles due to site instability.
is incomplete. SV was founded because certain members of SpaceBattles were upset over the demodding of Thanatos/Athene (the polyamorous MtF tranny supermod of SpaceBattles) on April 19th, 2014.

Here is where the mentioned demodding occurred:

Because SV isn't far left enough for these people. Also Nyanarchy, which I think split from SV.
Might be another called “Digital Wild West”, there were couple of mentions of that when I was looking through posts to remember the name of Nyanarchy.
Digital Wild West was made by KF's very own @Drain Todger, who wanted a looser code of conduct than SB had. Unsurprisingly, a small forum with almost no rules ended up attracting people who, ironically or otherwise, just Naziposted. There was also someone who posed as a SB member, for reasons unknown. The poster's name was Aiorann, and he was a leftist stick bundle, but I can't cosign pretending to be someone else in order to smear their name. I do believe that would be described as 'gayops'.There are a couple of other, mostly dead, offshoots.
Frozen In Carbonite, which split off from SB when a few prominent posters got permabanned.

It's really fucking depressing, for similar reasons to AlternateHistory.com the competitors to Spacebattles don't take off. They can't manage to gather a critical mass needed to sustain themselves alone. Normies are half to blame because they will normally take a "I just wannagrillread fiction I don't care about politics" but it is also a issue with the fact that people who are gonna have a issue with it are always gonna be the outliers.
So, what's the issue here? Can't recall much of Pathfinder's lore nor I care as good GMs will use their own stuff. It's SV the one that goes with the inane "don't hate fictional races" idea*, lest someone reaches the conclusion that Skaven are jews or something. Considering that Pathfinder allows anyone to become a god at will by passing a test IIRC, it can't be that bad, right?

*I wonder if this kind of inane mentality by the lefties resulted in current DnD's mexican orcs.
