My guess is the troons spend a lot of time manipulating their fresh wounds, and maybe masturbating even if the surgeon has said no to that. If the wound is infected, it will open, and the healing will be slower.

2 months Post-op Vaginectomy
Beforehand, I didn’t have dysphoria when it came to my vaginal canal. I enjoyed penetration and did it quite often. The only thing that bothered me was during penetration I would get air trapped inside of my canal during sex which was very painful and it wouldn’t go away for days. After getting my vaginectomy I feel complete even despite not having dysphoria with my canal before. In the early stages of recovery I did have a feeling like it was still there and with everything not all the way healed it kind of looked like it was. Question about swelling

I have pretty severe swelling of my labia and pain that is equally as severe. I called my doctor and she said it was normal but I'm honestly not sure. Did anyone else have severe swelling and pain 10+ days post op? How severe is "go to the ER?" For reference I had RFF stage one which for me was just creation of the phallus and nerve hookup. For what it's worth I had several complications as well.

Nothing is leaking but one side of my labia is so swollen it's hard. Pain goes from 6-9, maybe ten it's hard to tell if it's that bad or if it's just been going on so long.
