I’ve read this entire thread and I know I’m not the first to mention this, but Tif’s fascination/obsession with STP is insane to me and I can’t figure it out.

As a female, there has never been one instance where I wanted to pee standing up. The only time I ever thought about it was when potty-training a son, cleaning up messes, and finally throwing a couple cheerios in there as a target. I also had a job where I worked on my feet, and going to the bathroom and getting to sit down for a couple minutes in a private stall was a nice respite, and I felt sorry for male coworkers who had to use the urinals. I don’t camp so squatting isn’t part of my life but of course, I could. Those few thoughts were my only consciousness of it until this thread.

I can’t even imagine the deviation behind this obsession. I really think a lot of these sick little girls get this surgery solely for the opportunity to stand while urinating, and it baffles me. Is it sexual? Some power thing? An opportunity to show off their warped genitals? Is that what they think men are?

I can see the appeal of pissing while standing. I grew up with brothers and had male friends. When we were outside playing, if the boys had to pee, all they had to do was find a tree or something, and that was that. Me and other girls had to go home. It sucks when you're not close to home and have to stop what you're doing to go find a bathroom, while the boys didn't have to that. And of course if you're out driving on the highway and there's no bathroom in sight, having a hose would be nice. Etc. Etc.

That being said, I can't relate to wanting to pee standing up so badly that you would troon out over it. Personally, I feel like most of these girls appear so obsessed with being able to pee while standing because, for one thing, that's something only men can do, so it "affirms" that they are "real" men.

I Love My Lady Friends But...

Not looking for advice, just wanting to get this off my chest.

So I have these two cis female friends that's been very supportive throughout my phallo journey. They must not be quite experience with trans folks nor knowing what gender dysphoria is.

Recently I told them that I'm currently using reusable baby diaper cloth to catch my incontinence urine drips throughout the day. One of them suggested female wicking period underwear.

Now, I know they mean well, but there is no way in hell that I would resort to that. lol. Not only is female underwear not supportive of the new boys, but kind of a step backward in my journey for me.

I politely told them that I was fine using my baby diaper cloth for now.

It just made me recount all those other times where there's "girl talk" and I can't help but feel like I'm almost back to pre-transition me. Of course, I didn't bother to tell them that these topics can cause dysphoria for me because that's just regular conversation for them. I didn't want to make them "accommodate" me if you know what I mean. I'm assuming that we're close enough that they're able to have these "girls talk" in front of me(as a dude). I been open about my sexual life and my phallo surgery, because there's trust and comfort with these ladies.

I want to make this clear. None of them have been disrespectful or said things out of malice to me ever.

They're good friends, but I'm reminded that I need to make more guy friends. Haha! So far, I had successfully made a few guy friends and also develop a closer bond to my male family members. We have "boys talk" and it's super gender affirming! I feel like I'm finally in the right place in my life.
