I Love My Lady Friends But...

Not looking for advice, just wanting to get this off my chest.

So I have these two cis female friends that's been very supportive throughout my phallo journey. They must not be quite experience with trans folks nor knowing what gender dysphoria is.

Recently I told them that I'm currently using reusable baby diaper cloth to catch my incontinence urine drips throughout the day. One of them suggested female wicking period underwear.

Now, I know they mean well, but there is no way in hell that I would resort to that. lol. Not only is female underwear not supportive of the new boys, but kind of a step backward in my journey for me.

I politely told them that I was fine using my baby diaper cloth for now.

It just made me recount all those other times where there's "girl talk" and I can't help but feel like I'm almost back to pre-transition me. Of course, I didn't bother to tell them that these topics can cause dysphoria for me because that's just regular conversation for them. I didn't want to make them "accommodate" me if you know what I mean. I'm assuming that we're close enough that they're able to have these "girls talk" in front of me(as a dude). I been open about my sexual life and my phallo surgery, because there's trust and comfort with these ladies.

I want to make this clear. None of them have been disrespectful or said things out of malice to me ever.

They're good friends, but I'm reminded that I need to make more guy friends. Haha! So far, I had successfully made a few guy friends and also develop a closer bond to my male family members. We have "boys talk" and it's super gender affirming! I feel like I'm finally in the right place in my life.

Btw, this post is not meant to talk down on women or anything. I love the women in my life, but I just can't relate to them anymore since transitioning. I grew up around a lot of women and befriended so many of them pre-transition.

But perhaps my mind was playing tricks on me (after all, “split hot dog” would be an apt description of many of the horrors here).

I did a quick search and couldn’t find much. Exulansic has a paywalled post about Ashton from mid-December, and in the intro paragraph it reads like this is new to her:

But in the May 2022 New York Times feature about phalloplasty, it describes Rachel Bluebond-Langner doing something similar, though in a planned way, not as a fallback for a failed arm-urethra (my emphasis):

Edit: This technique appears to be called a "double-face urethroplasty" or a "double-face buccal mucosal graft (BMG) urethroplasty". They couldn't have been nicer or had better, practical suggestions for a horrifying problem she has to deal with. Look at all the different kinds! Almost anyone in the market also caters to troons and has boxer versions and ones that are "for men." This is as stupid as a man refusing to use women's shampoo in a pinch just because the bottle has a flower on it.

It's called a Shenis and it's super useful while camping.

I would have assumed this was satire, but Johnson has shown to be very much in favor of the creation of new eunuchs in society. He was part of the committee writing the WPATH Standards of Care for eunuchs, a group he believes should be considered their own gender.

My high school classmate who was on a Discovery Health Channel program about 20 years ago had a phalloplasty, taken from his forearm. This skin is used because it's the most hairless skin on the body.

(local aesthetic did shit all- if you re ever going in for spinal / any nerve root block injections, and they say they dont need to sedate you, dont listen, demand sedation, they only dont want to give you it because its more other for them, takes longer and they need an aneasthetist- local works on surface level things, but burrowing through layers of muscle into your spine, for ages, really hurts)

anyway, your body kind of freaks out just due to the sheer pain its been in after, you get freezing cold, boiling hot, shiver and shake uncontrollably, feel very faint.
she's in a kind of, chronic state of slightly less acute shock, not to mention the stress of it all. the cortisone in her system..

From reading around it seems to be that the skin graft to the "inside" of the rotdog has to be allowed to heal, and it forms the urethra extension when the two halves are stitched back together.

I know for male to female ones., they come off hormones to allow for more growth in certain areas to provide the "doctor" with more material to work with. I imagine it also cuts down on liability to some extent by removing one more thing the surgical staff has to worry about.

Actually I think it’s because estrogen heightens risk for stroke. Same reason you are supposed to stop smoking close to surgery (also to help healing).

Self harm. They want to hurt themsleves. Not all tattoos are self harm, of course, but these girls on some level want to destroy themselves and on another level they want everyone to see their pain. Tatts are one way of doing that. The huge zipper scars and skinned arms are another.
It’s a strange mix of self hatred and self obsession. These girls would be holy starving martyrs in another age, or penitenzie, or cutters or Ana chans. The same personality type as the munchies really, but more hardcore self hatred.
It’s fascinating and horrifying. I have someone close to me who has done some really extreme things to themself over the years (pulling her own teeth out, starvation and forcing unnecessary surgery for some examples) and I am pretty sure that if she was a teen rather than middle aged she’d be straight down the FtM rabbit hole. It’s a desire to obliterate the self, a deep hatred of the self but also a need to show other people. It’s bad enough to see on here but in real life it’s horrific.

I carry basically zero fat on my arm. I’m actually not even that skinny, it’s just my fat distribution. I can grab the skin on my arm, I can clearly see the veins, there’s just not a lot of fatty tissue underneath it.

I often see people worrying about whether they qualify for RFF due to their arms. As far as I know, it’s extremely unlikely that a person would not be able to have RFF based on their arm size. If you want to have the biggest, thickest dick ever, RFF might not be the technique for you. But speaking as someone who just wanted to end up with something average, I had no size issues.

In my opinion, there’s actually a big advantage of having slim arms and doing RFF: I have zero indentation on my arm. My scar is completely level with the rest of my skin. Not that there’s anything wrong with having a dent, of course. It’s just something that I visually really like about my scar.

My scar sits pretty close towards my hand. I used to think it was kinda weird, but I actually think it helps the scar blend in. Like it prevents my hand skin from looking like I’m wearing a skin glove. Again, not that there’s anything wrong with that, I just like how my wrist looks.

That’s about it for now! So if you’re someone who is considering RFF, but has lean forearms, I hope this post was somewhat helpful for you :-)
