My friend listens to the War Nerd podcast, and told me about an episode where the War Nerd himself, Gary Brecher, talks about how he had a surgeon in California remove the cartilage in his left knee, because he wanted a limp that would look like a "war wound", in keeping with his particular fixation. I’d love to see his discharge notes considering he said they told him there wasn’t necrosis while still under their care…

Hello people. Sadly I’m afraid I just don’t have thick enough skin to continue here. The majority of people have been supportive and kind but I have now received enough bullying messages that I no longer feel safe here. It’s so sad for me to see the kind of pain that some people in the trans community must be experiencing to feel entitled to say the things they’re saying to me. I understand that being nonbinary is confusing for many since we’ve mostly all grown up in such a hateful binary, either/or world. I just don’t fit into that. I’m not a trans woman and I’m not a cis man. Wanting to have a vagina and still present masculine to be my best most authentic self is what is correct for me and that’s not taking away or minimizing someone else’s experience. It’s just mine. Thank you to all of you who have been so helpful, fun, supportive and positive about my own journey and surgery last Tuesday. Thats the one I couldn't find when I was saying TripleDitch isn't the worst one I've seen, so thanks for finding it.

As for TripleDitch's prognosis, I'm not a doctor but I know scar tissue is less flexible than regular tissue, and the groin is a place that a lot of movement and flexiblity is required for general mobility, I imagine even if it heals, Trip is looking at a lifetime of self inflicted disability and restricted and likely painful movement.
Thats not just "dehiscence" those are deep fucking canyons where the stitches have ripped right back through the subcutaneous tissues. Aside from being a channel for infection and bacteria, (and with Troons having notoriously poor hygeine that alone is a disaster in the making), the potential for deep set necrosis in an area thats almost guaranteed to have extreme nerve damage, with the result that he'll probably not even notice theres anything wrong till he spikes a fever and goes into septic shock, all this means TripleDitch is going to be very lucky if he gets out of this without something bad happening to him.

I saw a fucking Suicide Helpine link and an advisory about suicide on a video that was just the fucking soundtrack to Mass Effect 2's Suicide Mission that I had on the other day for background music while I was painting a Forgeworld 40K Mini.
Its like the AI saw "Suicide" and automatically puts up a fucking advisory (which is annoying as hell when the video is part of a playlist because it won't autoplay).
The sheer amount of fucking nannying that they go through to try and make sure theres no wrongthink is ridiculous.

At very best, the two cavities on each side harden up and partially fill with granulation tissue. I say partially as it’s not going to fill out to the same shape it ‘should’ be. It’ll be more like each side hardening off and trying to form a barrier. What tissue forms will be hard and inflexible. It will not be possible to massage the area to break down scar without extreme pain. It will create a hard inflexible area around the urethra and neovag and he will probably find it increasingly difficult to dilate. There will be limited flexibility, he may rip the area multiple times during healing which will set him back. He is likely to never have full, pain free movement of the hips and legs. It’s going to end up gnarly even with the best healing. Constant risk of infection, and deep infection at that. If it gets into the actual pelvic structures inside then possible bad infection.
BUT he doesn’t seem to heal well. You can see that from that wound that’s reopened. If a fully healed wound has reopened then I am wondering if he is diabetic or if he’s just been caring for the wounds very poorly or is very fat and living in a hot damp place. The way it looks pale and white I’m almost wondering if there’s a fungal thing going on. I’d be sending samples to culture were I unfortunate enough to see him.
He is going to have a very rough time, lifetime urinary issues and that ‘fully functional’ hole is not going to be much fun.

Scurvy was my first thought too since its the only thing I know that can cause scar tissue to break down and old wounds reopen, but its not like this Troon is trying to chart the Northwest Passage with fucking Shackleton, do people even get Scurvy anymore?
